organise events like charity day and 6th form ball, along with the commitee, represent the school at events and stuff, cane the younger boys, sit in your chambers smoking cigars and drinking port whilst wearing a smoking jacket, top hat and monacle.

I got the perception for book 5 that Harry is a total emo kid.

Riva 07-11-2005 04:38 AM

Oh really? If that series was based in Australia, the fifth book would have been called "Harry Potter rips Voldermort's head off and shits down his throat."

And, if the movie had been cast with Samuel L. Jackson as Dumbledore, it would have been renamed, "Harry Potter: Shut The fuck up." (GG Brian from 8 Bit Theater).

Arucard 07-11-2005 04:40 AM

That would be so good.

I plan to drunkenly by the book on my wya home on friday, which will probably be slightly amusing...

Does anyone else think Rowling will write a sh!tty love plot with ron + hermione...?

So, now that the protesters have got the fuck out of my capital I can go shopping for my friend's 18th birthday pressent.
Today's trip yielded nothing for him...but Clutch - Robot Hive/Exodus (£8.99), The Suicide Machines - A Match and Some Gasoline (£4.99), and The Blues Brothers - A Briefcase Full of Blues (£4.99), for myself.

I'm a bad person :(

Riva 07-11-2005 05:41 AM

Picture an MSN convo, with yours truly at the helm. This is me talking about original ideas....

I have this idea to have a sci fi kind of trilogy
with this guy called Duke Starstalker
And he battles this evil dark king
Who is trying to take over the world
except it turns out that this king is his uncle
And then once it has gained cult status
I'll make a series of ****ty prequels
and wipe my arse with the money I still make
I think I'll call it... Star Battle

Stoic 07-11-2005 05:42 AM

Hopefully not. I just hope Harry doesn't spend the whole book yelling at people again. If he doesn't, it has potential to be really good.

Well this one isn't half as thick as the last...which means there cannot be 300 page sof 'oh look harry is bieng victimised by some b!tch' which iritated mes lightly, and also stopped me from recapping on the story this week...Instead I'm reading Mort by Terry Pratchet, which, is rather humerous.

I'm pretty sure it's safe. It doesn't come with alot of the spyware that Kazaa and Limewire do and I think you're less likely to pick up a virus from it. It's worked fine for me, so far.

It would make a cool tatoo and sure tatoos can be removed but...wont it hurt?

EDIT
ow yeah, can anyone tell me if Soulseek is a safe program? my previous computer crashed because of Kazaa...
Soulseek is ok, never had a crash because of it. However I have little viruses here and there that I dont know where they come from.

there's nothing wrong with protesting against the G8, as long as they keep it to themselves.
When they start involving people who don't care and disrupting people's lives that's when it get's severly wrong.

Stoic 07-11-2005 06:40 AM

oh, if you think of it this way I agree. I also hate it when protesters block the streets, for example. It's unfair for the rest. But this is "democracy"...

I still say a sword would have been the way to go.

NP Halfway To Gone - Whiskey Train

munky_magik 07-11-2005 06:51 AM

Apart from the problem that I originally pointed out, another one occured to me:
The easiest and cheapest place to get a sword would have been from Edinburgh. But I would't have been able to get to the shops that sell them becuase of the protesters.
Apparently they had all bases covered.

Anyway, I'm away to sun myself again.
I am thinking about changing my name again (sigh). What do you think I could change it to?
If you don't have an idea in your head then perhaps you don't need a change.

Tattoos do not hurt, i have quite a few. Removing them generally is not worth it because it will still leave a scar in the shape of the tattoo and it costs a lot more than the tattoo ever did. However getting tattoos covered up by other tattoos is a very viable option
