I saw CCR live, they're an amazing band.
I r uber jealous @ U!

Seriously, I am. There's supposed to be an amazing live band. I've heard the 20 minute version of Suzie Q, it's godly I say :thumb:

Oh, man. That must of been great. I've never heard their live stuff, though.

Broken Arrow 12-03-2004 08:37 PM

CCR is really good but I'd rather see a load of other bands.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-03-2004 08:37 PM

I have a VCD live bootleg of old CCR from Mexico thats OK I bought for 30.00 pesos (3 american).

Broken Arrow 12-03-2004 08:39 PM

I have a video of John Fogerty thats really good he plays CCR songs without CCR.

But really he was CCR

thickasabrick 12-03-2004 09:32 PM

i have the chronicle cd, and the Willie and the Poor Boys and Bayou Country records. i love Bayou Country

thickasabrick 12-03-2004 09:39 PM
Hmmm, I need to get into some CCR, but there's other bands on my priority list. Too sad indeed...I wish I had the money to get every single CD I want.
CCR isn't the type of music you have to "get into". they did't produce bad songs so you can basically just download anything of theirs. no searching around needed.

You know, that's actually very true. They barely didn't make any bad songs at all.

BludgeonySteve 12-03-2004 10:41 PM

I know, all of their songs were awesome :)

Sometimes I have to listen to a ****ty song a lot in order to like it, but not with CCR ;)

Oh man, i'm so CCR-afied right now. I feel guilty that I only have one of their albums (creddence gold) plus this one.

I will buy atleast 5 more of theirs very soon. And suggestions?

Seeing this is like our home thread I would like to point out that me and Woodstock got our starz at the same time!

BludgeonySteve 12-03-2004 10:51 PM

Well not epic writers, but they sure can write catchy songs. Great riffs too.

Talk about mood swings.

lunch998 12-03-2004 11:24 PM

Ok did we get the CCR awesomeness out of our systems?

thickasabrick 12-03-2004 11:36 PM
Ok did we get the CCR awesomeness out of our systems?
no..i just came back and i have a few more things to say.

in a magazine i had it said that when they wrote CCR songs, they would basically just write a single and release it, another and release it, and keep doing that until they had enough for an album. im not sure if that was true...can anyone verify it for me at all? because that sounds pretty time consuming.

and how the hell did livewired and woodstock get stars in the short time i have been gone?

Apparently they have friends in high places.

Badmoon 12-03-2004 11:49 PM

Well, no offense, but they don't talk about much else while in chats or anything. And one of them asked Bartender to rep him.

gmoneyguy 12-04-2004 12:09 AM

Thats wrong, They had 400 at the start of the day.

I call upon My CR Brothers to give me a boost into star (i have 816)

Well, I'm into them, I meant that I want to get their CDs, but there's a lot more higher priorities on my list of stuff I don't have yet (Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin *gasp the only classic rocker who owns no zeppelin*, Badfinger, etc.). But very good point.

Well, aren't you clever.

Guitrguy, got those songs yet?

And has anyone listened to Galadriel?

jpj 12-04-2004 07:41 AM

Liverwired and Woodstock got stars simply because they told Bartender the site, and he repped them.

And lunch that avatar doesn't look to bad, I like it :thumb:

Plus one

lunch998 12-04-2004 09:01 AM

Is there anybody.....out there?

I'm listening to Dylan and The Dead, and realized that the Dead are much better than Dylan on this Cd.

jpj 12-04-2004 09:03 AM

I'm here.

Dylan is out-numbered by The Dead, it's not fair.

lunch998 12-04-2004 09:05 AM
I'm here.

That is true, but it really is not Dylan's best, while the Dead play great.
