Lately I've been liking Persecution Mania the most.
I'm liking Agent Orange, M-16, and the self-titled the most.
Does anyone happen to know the name of the song that Sepultura plays at the end of Rest in Pain... the circus sounding riff...
Oh, the circus theme sounding thing? I don't have a clue.
Persecution Mania is easily the best Sodom, as I have said countless times on this thread. :p
Speaking of Sodom I haven't checked out the latest album yet, is it any good? |

 |
Obsessed By Cruelty would be my favorite if the production didn't lick nuts. I rarely ever complain about production, but you can't hear half of the riffs on the album.
I hate how some Sodom releases pan randomly all over.
...Speaking of Sodom...
Something you never want to hear in your life... |
It's not that bad.
The panning? It ruins the music.
No the new Sodom album.
Oh, I meant "speaking of sodom" as in the physical act, haha. The album is great.
Oh, ok.
I don't like the new Sodom. It's too melodic for my tastes, and too midpaced. Lord of Depravity is cool, and Blood on Your Lips has some nice riffs and atmopsphere, but the rest just isn't up to par.
Yeah, Lords of Depravity is good. It's not a bad album, just not that great. I expected something a little more solid from Sodom.
It's a good non-thrash album. That's how I see it.
Its got nothing on M-16. Also, I have recently been getting into Tapping the Vein.
Tapping The Vein has it's moments.
My ranking is as follows:
1. Agent Orange 2. M-16 3. Persecution Mania 4. Sodom 5. Tapping the Vein I also really like Code Red, though it seems no one else does. |
I could agree with that list.
Agent Orange > Persecution Mania > In The Sign of Evil > Tapping The Vein
That's all I've got along with Expursion of Sodomy, which I've barely listened to. I've heard some stuff off M-16 which seemed pretty good. |
So I totally just met Gary Holt, Rob Dukes, and Jack Gibson and the drummer of Napalm Death.
Exodus easily had the most energy and were the funnest. But bummer though, they only played Bonded By Blood, then the rest was Tempo of the Damned and SHKM stuff. |
Yeah, that sucks about the new lineup, they haven't learnt the old songs yet.
Wow. I'd have thought Gary would have whipped them into shape.
Well I've seen other setlists which have included Fabulous Disaster and a couple of other BBB tracks, but it's still dissapointing.
I wonder when the hell Heathen will get a record deal and give us a new album. The demo last year was the best thing I've heard from a re-united Thrash band yet. |
Is Lee Altus still in Heathen?
Yeah.
Heathen isn't that good.
Have you heard the demo?
It's all i've heard.
NP: Sauron - Thrash Assault. This is some of the best thrash ever :) |
