Im getting a Conklin BDGT-7.
Very nice.

When?

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 12:52 PM

Today, probly in an hour or so, whenever i decide to get up and go down to the guitar shop down the street.

Wintermute 10-23-2004 12:53 PM

Erm?

I think if I was going out to get a new bass, especially as good a one as that I wouldn't be sat around online, there'd be a hole in the door.

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 12:55 PM

My guitarist is at the supermarket with my car. He called and said he'd be back soon.

e p 10-23-2004 12:55 PM

That's great Funk.

I wish I could blow a grand or so on a whim.

Pictures when you get it

Wintermute 10-23-2004 12:56 PM
I wish I could blow a grand or so on a whim.
Amen, even though your grand is so much less than one of ours.

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 12:56 PM

I'll try for pics, later on, i'll be playin it for a few days.

e p 10-23-2004 01:00 PM
Amen, even though your grand is so much less than one of ours.
How much more?

Wintermute 10-23-2004 01:01 PM

£1,000.00 = US$1,828.69

US$1,000.00 = £546.840 GBP

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 01:02 PM

I'll get my Conk for only $1000 probly, I know the guys who own the place very well.

e p 10-23-2004 01:03 PM

Wow. That's quite a lot more for a grand than us. But I would assume it all evens out since you get more money from a paycheck than us.

What color Funk?

Wintermute 10-23-2004 01:04 PM

Do we? What's the tax rate like in Ameria? (Also, what's the tax rate like here? I've never paid any)

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 01:06 PM

Probly the red, maybe the clear, I'll have to stand with them in the mirror.

e p 10-23-2004 01:07 PM

Hell if I know, Winter. I don't pay.

Go with the red. I enjoy the natural too.

Once you get into the cycle of not sleeping at normal times, then sleeping at abnormal times will become "normal."

Radiobass81 10-23-2004 01:50 PM

Fretless, of course.

FUNKNBASS 10-23-2004 01:52 PM

I'm Back with my lovely new BDGT-7. Im playing with it as we type. It's amazing. I got the red by the way.

Omega Red 10-23-2004 01:55 PM
Fretless, of course.
ok well you need to intonate a fretted too.

basicaly plug your bass in to a tuner and play an open note, then the 12th fret harmonic. you want then to match, if its sharp pull the sadle back, if its flat push the sadle up. you change the length of the sadle by using a philips head skrew driver.
other than that its all in where u put your fingers, play into a tuner, and adjust you fingers accordingly
