Seriously though, I cant judge myself. i can play Kirk solos with my eyes shut, then i struggle with simple power chord songs half the time.

i always got annoyed with people who try to describe their ability...now I sympathise

I've been getting pissed off at my ability recently.

I just can't seem to string a series of notes together :(

Dont tempt me butler, I was playing that metal style yesterday, with full crunching muting. I can neve play it all the way through though, i just think 'why am I playing this?' right about the 'solo' part

Might do it on New Years though, guitaring in the evening, entertaining my less musically established friends, they'll recognise that one at least

i jus tget stuck on a scaler for ages, then have no clue where to take it nexst. hence why i've been reading up on the cirlce of fifths, etc.

My goal is to improv without thinking about what notes are coming next

I love playing blink on guitar and bass, you can just have so much fun playing them, just jump about, and act like a a-hole.

I dont really go too nuts playing guitar, I just stand and concentrate. Although playing Part of Me usually invokes some sort of mad metal style head smashing in company of friends

I dont realy concentrate much, i dont realy mind if i mess up a bit though, i jsut laugh, but i play pretty simplyish stuff, some gets pretty hard if i move around a lot, not all to bad though.

When you go flying out with Enter Sandman so0lo (sorry, but using a common example), its not wise to go flying away, especially when you forget that you need a wah at your feet for some points......

Dont need a lot of room to play guitar. I was playing some Weezer in my friends car the other day.

Now if he had an amp in his car, that would have ruled so much. But I would consider playing something a bit more hard hitting thatn Weezer
