Well I like Santa Cruz because it has beaches, its not too far from my house, and it had the Catalyst which brings in some good groups to play and I dig a good music scene in a town. Santa Barbara on the other hand is the place everyone is telling me to be for its beaches and nice weather. I'm leaning more towards Santa Barbara but I'll let the campus tours/feel I get from each place decide.

When I did the tour at Santa Cruz, the girl that walked us around stood up on this fountain and was sooooo close to falling backwards into it. You could hear the whole group go "awwwwww" when she regained her balance.

Got back from Reading Festival today. Was great, got punched in the face during RATM but it was so worth it.

I had class from about 10 to noon today. And my only classes tomorrow are at 11 and 3:30. So far so good.

i got called on to explain the fact of some precedent that was stuck at the end of the reading from last class and i was like uh mumble mumble ex post facto and he was like wtf about the facts and i was like uhhh and he was like ill call on somebody else but they didnt know either so i felt a little better hope this helps

finished my first day of classes today. all my professors seem pretty cool, and they all speak good clear english. nice. oh and i heard from a guy in my electronics lab that we had to print out stuff and bring it so im like **** i hav 30 mins so i go to the lib, print it out and see in an email that the first two prelabs are due the first session...so im like **** and i look at em and start doing one of em and like its pretty hard and theres no way i can even finish 3 of the questions in 15 mins so i just went to a computer and switched my lab to Wednesday hahaha niceeeee

My teacher speaks mostly spanish but thats the point.
