Adam Jones is GOD 02-23-2005 12:16 PM

I've just realised, my blink loving friend is round tonight, and he hasnt heard the news yet. Shall I break it like the loss of a loved one, or..

"hey, you'll never guessed who split up? Ill give you a clue, it would kill you to hear...."

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 12:18 PM

Last night I realised my mate was on msn but I was doing work so I wasn't talking to her, so I go "hey" and she goes "omg have you heard about blink ?:(" and I'm sat there like :upset: I wanted to tell her, though I would've probably got hit by her :s

Tell him gently haha, and have kleenex and chocolate ready :)

Adam Jones is GOD 02-23-2005 12:20 PM

I dont know if he'll believe me though. I told him about QOTSA 'break up' a while ago, and of course, now they're back in buisness, he thinks im a liar.

But chocolate wont hurt. Ill do that ice cream trick you women are so good at

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 12:22 PM

I'm a bit odd I think, I'm not a massive choccie or ice cream fan :upset:

Adam Jones is GOD 02-23-2005 12:23 PM

It seems all women i've know always use ice cream when in a depressed/bitchy mood.

Or in extremely eventful and enjoyable situations :naughty:

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 12:27 PM

Yeah, loads of people are like "I could sit and eat a whole tub of ice cream" and I'm like "wha??"

Though give me a bag of haribo....

haha, oh darn it I just remembered what else makes me weird, I don't really like cake that much either  just choccy cake :p

Adam Jones is GOD 02-23-2005 12:46 PM

Haribo = sweets of the gods.

Dammit, my msn just lagged. 5 people talked to me at once, though it set a 10 minute delay for them to appear.

Cowboy from hell 02-23-2005 01:30 PM

Haribo are discusting.... you want a manly sweet.... try a YORKIE :P

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 02:13 PM

Yeah yorkie's are ok, but I dont need a manly sweet ;)

Oh and I've confirmed now that I hate maths....again

Brew 02-23-2005 02:15 PM

Haribo > you.

I finished my physics coursework

All I need to do is print it at school tomorrow and draw on the diagrams.

Fine, fail in life. One day you'll be walking through the park and a bunch of bearded terrorists will jump you, point a gun at your knee's and say,
"hey bitch, work out the volume of my beard or die"
and you'll be all like
"oh shaith I wish I didn't flunk maths"
Then he'll go
"We kill you now"
and you'll be like
"Oh shaith I wish I wore brown panties"

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 02:21 PM

I'm normally ok at maths its just the last bit of my coursework tonight thats majorly confusing us all meh
Maths = uber evil...
Oh yes

bobbass4k 02-23-2005 03:08 PM

whats your coursework about?

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 03:11 PM

Its statistics, we have a load of info on school kids in some school and I chose the relationship between height and weight and um...yeah :)

bobbass4k 02-23-2005 03:14 PM

statistics is pretty easy, what is it just rank correlation and modal averages e.t.c?

revolution 02-23-2005 03:14 PM

Ha, we had that coursework last year; immensley boring. Mayfield school or something?

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 03:16 PM
Ha, we had that coursework last year; immensley boring. Mayfield school or something?
Exactomundo edit: very boring indeed and I still dont understand it having "finished" it  what is the point?

And Bob it would be easy, except I found out (after "finishing" it) that I need something like a histogram/ cum. frequency graph but from what I've done so far I'd have to expand to compare with another criteria like hours of TV watched, but those graphs only do one thing not two so eugh :upset:

bobbass4k 02-23-2005 03:19 PM

you should put spearmans coefficent of rank correlation jess, that'd probably get you some mraks, its easy aswell

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 03:21 PM

Thanks, and now to find out what the hell you are on about?

Am I meant to know that in yr11? Considering we no longer even learn standard deviation

Untitled 02-23-2005 03:28 PM

SO i just killed a dark sith master.

GO ME.

bobbass4k 02-23-2005 03:29 PM

Spearmans coefficent of rank correlation can be calculated thorugh the formula

r5=1 - 6Ed x 6Ed
---------
n(n x n -1)

where Ed x Ed = is the sum of the squared differences
between the pairs of ranks and n is the number of pairs

thats the best i can do without squared number signs

duffroxmysox 02-23-2005 03:29 PM

 Butlers back to the blink av!

I see, well thanks but I'm not doing anything with ranks so  I dont see how I can use this, though thanks anywho :thumb:

The Stats coursework that I did had some weird yet funny names in for the kids.

Phil McCrack being the funniest one.
