Ha.... loser.

No worries many a cool post has been ignored in the depths of the stronghold. Youd feel worse if it was your birthday, or you just mustered the courage to introduce yourself to the fourm... they get ignored alot. It a part of things.

On another note, check out what i just buyd it now for 210 (with shipping) on ebay. Yes, they do say custom dark  The hats ive ALWAYS wanted.

I just won an auction for a mysterious Mapex aluminum snare... I wasn't able to find out anything about it other than that they existed.

However, I got it for 100 bucks, so all is well.

i'm back. i went today, filled out all my paperwork for an airport security pass (which, by the way, took 2 full hours) but i have to go in tomorrow to get fingerprinted and get my eye scanned. i get to miss my first block class, which is no big deal anyways.

afterwards i went shopping. i ended up buying a tie and some flannel pj pants. the tie is amazing, i can't wait to buy a suit next weekend.

right now i'm gonna go shower, since i haven't done so since friday morning. i love weekends.

Brokensticks 11-28-2005 08:46 PM

Awesome stuff, sic go on MSN is you can.

poppinfresh 11-28-2005 09:36 PM
GlassPrison, thats a nice looking setup you got there. You should get a remote hi-hat clamped to the rack to eliminate the stand (you don't have any other stands, why not?). I just think that would look cool.

Anyway, I got a question for you guys. My friend who is a drummer just bought a pair of ZBT hats, when I told him they were sub par and he should have invested a little more in some good ones. He told me they were better than my hats (Paiste 400's early 80's, "Made in West Germany" is stamped on them). So what do you guys think? Who has the better hats?
yours are way better. go by sound not by name. but you have a part of history and he has the part of history that everyone wants to forget.

styler 11-28-2005 10:05 PM

Thanks. I kept telling him not to order the ZBTs (Musicians Friend). He wouldn't listen.

styler 11-28-2005 10:29 PM

Double Bass Jim 11-28-2005 10:47 PM

Yeah man!! Those are gonna be KILLER.

Those cymbals kick big time.

Loyton 11-28-2005 10:50 PM

psh yea ill take new pics of my saturn over at the home studio/band practice area. It looks amazing. My band was literally blown away by the professional sound quality, and they are hard to please!

they are going to be blown away by these hats to. I have a pair of z/z dyno beats that i have to switch out for certian sets, but mostly ill use these.

Double Bass Jim 11-28-2005 10:56 PM

Yea that kit rules too.

The saturns are some of my very favorite drums.

Loyton 11-28-2005 11:02 PM

i don't have you on my msn. mine's

say_days_ago8@hotmail.com

if you wanna add me. i could always use more people to talk to.

anyways, i'm off to bed. i had to burn copies of some of my cd's so i could bring them into work, since the people there don't know how to take care of cd's. if you leave them there over night, it's pretty much unplayable the next day. they just take it out and throw it on the ground, and proceed to walk through there 100-200 times each shift.
