Please do, and when I get a new set thats all I plan to have, alot of stuff, is to much for me, I just like 5 - 6 piece with liek 3-4 cymbals.

Jezen 11-28-2005 04:46 PM

Ok, I payed for my 10" tom. I can't wait till I get it.

Nice, how much was it, and you ahve to post pics when you get it.

Jezen 11-28-2005 04:49 PM

It was 43 pounds including p+p. It's a Pearl ELX 8x10 covered in Premier Blue Pearl wrap. I'll change the lugs over to Premiers when I get it. I'll probably mount it with an I.S.S

That sounds really sweet, now I cant wait till you get it to see the pics haha.

And yeh, any of you guys think this is worth buying and just fixing it up and adding drums???????

Jezen 11-28-2005 04:52 PM

I don't think it's worth it. You will have a really hard time getting other drums that match.

-TheGlassPrison- 11-28-2005 04:56 PM

for .99 cents?

uhh..

ok..

anyways,

Jezen 11-28-2005 04:57 PM

Yeah that's only if he can get it for 99c which won't happen. The kit looks cool that way, but the rack looks abit stupid.

-TheGlassPrison- 11-28-2005 04:59 PM

haha, yeah..

I was trying to go for something else.. if i get it working you'll see what i mean..

Im going to go do some tweaking

its like that for a reason.

spike9908 11-28-2005 05:00 PM

if anyone on here gets People magazine, tell me what it says about the David Ludwig/Kara Borden thing. Apparentally there is a 5 page artical in it this month and i heard it has a little about Lititz(where i live).

Postman Pie. 11-28-2005 05:03 PM

I'm thinking of doing what a couple people here have done and trigger a kit made out of practice pads, as I'd like to be able to continue practicing at uni, although thats a long time away.

What will I need? Won't I need a drum brain? Arn't they expensive?

Jezen 11-28-2005 05:06 PM

Yeah im always checkin eBay for modules. That's the main expense on a home made e-kit.

White 11-28-2005 05:07 PM

Well the reserve is not met yet, so 99cents is gonna happen, and plus Im canadian also so its like 1.19, and I dont plan on getting the matching drums for it, just buying a floor tom that would sound good with it, and getting all new lugs, and a new paint job, and ill have it running, and if I dont like it, then ill sell it

Oh and Glass Prison. that looks pretty sweet, what size rack tom you ahve on that 8 inch or 10?

-TheGlassPrison- 11-28-2005 05:16 PM

8".

White 11-28-2005 05:29 PM

sweet

spike9908 11-28-2005 05:36 PM

^basically just the pads, a trigger for each, stands for them, and the brain(most expensive part, roland TD6 is about $500.)

Plan B. 11-28-2005 05:42 PM

What Sabian is ride is that?

-TheGlassPrison- 11-28-2005 05:47 PM

Yipee

White 11-28-2005 06:50 PM

Argh, My mom is not making any sense at all!. She says I have to save for a new drum set, and shes said that for the past 3 months, Until 2 weeks ago I have a a broken leg for 2 months and couldnt work or anything, and now that my cast is off, she wont let me get a job because I have school, when I ask her how im supposed to save money I cant make she just says that your problem :S for almost half a year now ive been trying to get a drum set, but she wont let me work, so now I have to go super low class like 200-300$ drum set. I hate this

PremierManiac 11-28-2005 06:54 PM

GlassPrison, thats a nice looking setup you got there. You should get a remote hi-hat clamped to the rack to eliminate the stand (you don't have any other stands, why not?). I just think that would look cool.

Anyway, I got a question for you guys. My friend who is a drummer just bought a pair of ZBT hats, when I told him they were sub par and he should have invested a little more in some good ones. He told me they were better than my hats (Paiste 400's early 80's, "Made in West Germany" is stamped on them). So what do you guys think? Who has the better hats?

Brokensticks 11-28-2005 06:55 PM

That sucks man, at least you can get a cheap one.

puppet.master 11-28-2005 06:56 PM

how old are you? how much homework/studing do you do on the avarage night? do you have any study halls(free blocks)?

if you think you could keep up with your school work and have a job, tell her, and if she still says no, go out and get/fill out/turn in applications on your own.
