Those damn noobs get everywhere.
And no, unfortunately I don't. I really wish I oculd play them but I've never had the time and facilities to learn :(
Yes, drum equipment is very expensive. I have put probably about $5,000 into my kit! So you play guitar then? I play a little guitar and bass too, but mostly drums.

CaptainWaits 01-28-2005 02:51 PM

I just got back from CD shopping, and I was going to order Dissection's "Storm of the Light's Bane", but the guy said it's on a very small Dutch order, and ity would take from 9 months to a year to it, so Fu*k that

And did I just miss a whore rep??

RiceMonster 01-28-2005 02:51 PM

I wish I had the money for a drum set. I play guitar, bass and piano/keyboards at the moment.

Otherside 01-28-2005 02:54 PM

Hey FF, I was wondernig, why do you hate me?

A good piano or keyboard can cost more than a drum set!

magicbus 01-28-2005 02:56 PM

I really wanna get a keyboard.

Yes, but my parents bot the piano for the whole familly a while back. They told me I'd have to pay for a drum set if I wanted it. Oh well. :upset:

BludgeonySteve 01-28-2005 02:57 PM
I just repped most of the folks in here, except for zepfan...I always seem to be out with regard to him. Rock not roll, that recent unsigned rep is from me. Forgot to sign.
Righty, once I can i'll rep you back.

BludgeonySteve 01-28-2005 03:00 PM

Hehe, Ken and zepfan both repped this account :\. Now it's at 2500 points. Oh wells.

I recently bought a 1968 Fender Bandmaster Reverb head from some old guy for $100. It's a sweet all tube head, sounds great.

CaptainWaits 01-28-2005 03:01 PM

:( No!! I missed A Whore Rep session :upset:

Hmmm, I've been playin drums for quite a long time, but I've never once visited the drum forum, maybe I'll stop by sometime here soon

BludgeonySteve 01-28-2005 03:04 PM

Drums would be fun to play but It was either drums or guitar and I made my choice.

LordDargon 01-28-2005 03:05 PM

I found out how to get the long statuses. HAKKED LOLZ

ha ha ha, tell them a drum set is a good "family investment". Keep it in the living room and use it for getting rid of unwanted guests in your house. :D

Same here. Except for the part about the drums.

Distant Echoes 01-28-2005 03:05 PM

to animosity

D&P board isnt all that great. I wrote a few articles in the Lessons section...and the members in their are all pretty smart, except the n00bs with all the same questions. I orginally started on this site 2 years ago only posting on that board, but it just got so boring. I stop in every once in a while an answer some questions, especially over snares, but not often

My Oldest Brother is one of the main drum teachers/clinicians in the area I live in, so that's how I pretty much became a drummer

LordDargon 01-28-2005 03:08 PM

So, I used a combination of m4d h4x0rz and espionage to capture this image of Eleventeen.

I would have to disagree, the noob threads are fewer in there than anywhere else, and they are quickly dealt with. I have always gotten great help in there. SonorKen's interview threads are cool too.
Hey FF, I was wondernig, why do you hate me?
I may have used to. Don't remember.

Rock Not Roll - I gave all the rep I could.

My bandmate just bought a drum set (not a drummer) with a double bass pedal and I want to go try it out. I'm faster with one foot than two at the moment (I'm actually pretty quick with that one foot but you'll hear no blastbeats)

well after about a year, it gets sort of old...

but sonorkens interviews are great. i didnt know about them until about 2 weeks ago, and i thought it was a great idea.

I think they could use another mod though. ***** came and went pretty fast, and dbj is the man, but he cant always be online looking after the n00bs, and i dont ever recall being on the internet and seeing damo on at the same time.

but its a pretty slow moving board too, i guess they can manage

I got a double-pedal for Christmas, and I'm terrible at it

I'm just not meant for a double-pedal I guess, my right foot is amazingly fast though, which makes up for it. But My left foot just can't do anything. I'm real good at doing triplets and such with my one foot.

Well I haven't been there for a year yet, but every time I have a serious question, I pop in and sure enough DBJ will give a solid answer. Yeah I never see Damo either, but I think DBJ alone is enough to handle that board, he does a great job.
