He has four now if you count (at least I think it was him, it might have been Bay) the new Friday the 13th.
That wasn't him.
But anyways I saw all of his movies besides Devil's Rejects. House of 1000 Corpses was ok, just terrifying... and his remake of Halloween was basically a animal photographso with a slasher walking around.
Okay, so you've seen two of his three movies. One was "terrifying", meaning it was good since that's what horror films are there to accomplish, and one was "a porno with a slasher walking around", which means god knows what. |
It means it was him trying to put as much sex in the movie as he possibly could. Like 3/4's of the time people would be going at it when Meyers would come after them... it was kind of redundant.
It was the Halloween remake he did.
No, I mean I don't know if that means you liked it or not. My main point, I guess, is that it's kind of a swooping statement to say "most of his films suck" when he only has three, and you've only seen two.
haha I guess... I don't think too deep into things like that though. But no I didn't like the new Halloween that much (besides maybe the first 30 mins.).
The Shining was cool as ****
I don't think I ever really watched horror movies as a kid I remembered being afraid of Cujo once when I was little though. :( |
Jeepers Creepers scared me. I think mostly cause you didn't see much/
idk i saw drag me to hell like a week ago and i was really high so the entire movie scared the absolute **** out of me
I like how a few of my friends actually like Blair Witch Project, I make fun of them constantly for it.
I heard Drag Me to Hell was hilariously bad from several people, my one friend said she was literally laughing in the theater. |
I thought it was cool at the time but I couldn't have been older than 10 or so
theres a lot of parts that are like 'jumpy' kind of scary, but other than that its pretty lame.
The final scene is all I remember being anything near scary/creepy
Drag Me to Hell is completely based off of if you like jumpy horror or not. Cuz I jumped quite a few times in that movie... but I kind of started to predict said jumps after awhile... it was still a "fun" movie. I haven't watched a horror movie that made me "scared" in like 5 years.

What you don't realize is that your friend is a "she" and thus oblivious to mostly everything, such as the fact that the movie is supposed to be corny as hell a la sam raimi's horror style. In other words, you're supposed to be laughing edit: Goddammit you guys are all ****ing stupid did none of you see Evil Dead? or do you think every horror movie is supposed to be ****ing 28 days later |
Well I heard it was bad from some of my guy friends too, like the effects were horrible and any attempt to be scary basically failed idk, I might see it when it comes out on video but not spending the money to see it in the theater.
your fag friends need to go watch Evil Dead and heil Raimi
the whole theatre effect added to the 'scariness' imo. that and being high, but it would probably be boring as **** if i was to watch it at home
I like gay scary movies tbh, like Silence of the Lambs.
Yeah it did have that sort of humor that Evil Dead did, but in a more subdued way...

Do yourself a favor and watch Evil Dead and bask in its glory. Then watch Evil Dead 2 and be amazed at how it's even better. Then watch Drag Me To Hell and realize it's supposed to be just like those movies. The effects are old school. It's not supposed to be scary, it's supposed to be entertaining. For christ sake in the end there's a talking goat that calls the chick a "whoo-o-o-o-o-r-e" in it's goaty voice! Go into it expecting something that will give you nightmares and you are not the intended audience for the movie |
ok keep in mind I'm just regurgitating opinions and know nothing about the movie lol, I'll watch Evil Dead eventually though.
you'd be missing out if you didn't
Also Drag Me to Hell was like disturbing... in the non-gory way.
it was?
edit: oh yeah they did find creative ways to make it pg-13 and still put some crazy **** in |
evil dead is pretty hilarious
I'm sure it won't top Star Trek!
Yeah like when *OMGZ GUYS!!! SPOILER ALERT* that witch spewed out green **** into her mouth at the funeral scene.

the tree raping scene is godly. |
