Jom 02-09-2006 10:09 AM

Well, my charts weren't updating, weren't updating, weren't updating, and I was getting annoyed. And so I logged on this morning to find that they updated, albeit four days late.

Better late than never, though, heh.

which one?

kurrpt 02-09-2006 11:39 AM

have a cigar :thumb:

Why do i feel guilty about buying lunch today? It was only 6.47, and i practically quit smoking, which saves more money...

i am the robots 02-09-2006 11:41 AM

Early dismissal today... nobody is home.... good chance practice guitar and screaming .

kurrpt 02-09-2006 11:42 AM

nice man. I havent really cranked the mesa since this past weekend. I primarily use the metronome and learn stuff, so theres really no point i guess

I like being able to play with my amp on because it's a rare occurance at home... I mean... finally Vide Infra *non-acoustic*

kurrpt 02-09-2006 11:50 AM

yea, i know what thats like man, and i have my own place

considering the situation, i have found a new LOVE for my acoustic guitar. I feel i get better practice then with my PRS. Fretting and picking, i believe, need to be more exact on an acoustic. I believe electrics leave for a greater margin of error

Every day is like that for me. I love having a single room.

Jom 02-09-2006 12:13 PM

I got placed in a four-person, four-bedroom townhouse for next year. One of my roommates is one of my good friends from back home, and the other two guys are on the track team here. So, I'm cool with that because I get my own room finally, heh. And one of my friends from back home probably knows the other two guys, so that's cool.

NP: Lostprophets - "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" (I haven't heard this song in forever, and it just came up randomly on my playlist, heh)

kurrpt 02-09-2006 12:22 PM

cant say ive ever heard of that tune

PinkFreud 02-09-2006 12:26 PM

we're about to turn in our housing applications for our hopeful house. it's awesome. four bedrooms, 3 upstairs, 1 ground floor. big basement. basement has a bar in it.

kurrpt 02-09-2006 12:28 PM

you have a good chance at it then?

whats ur second choice

Lunch 02-09-2006 12:28 PM

If I lived at a place like that I wouldn't pass class. Or even go.

PinkFreud 02-09-2006 12:33 PM

the only draw back is our 1/4 bathroom. this thing is tiny. we have a full one on the top floor but this one on ground level is like a closet with a toilet. barely enough room to sit down. itll be fine for pissing and puking though.

its a really popular house, i hope we get it. if not, we have a back up which is nice but not as nice. the guy's repainting and recarpeting everything though.

Lunch 02-09-2006 12:37 PM

As long as it's good enough for pissing and puking.

Jom 02-09-2006 12:41 PM

Alright, so get this: one of the track kids has his workout log posted on Facebook, and it's public, so I checked it out.

I practically fell off my chair.

In the month of January alone, he ran over 200 miles and cross-country skiied another 20.

And he writes things like "Run easy 11 miles" or "Run steady 8 miles" or "Run steady 60 minutes with ten minute uptempo."

Holy fucking shit, dude! Whenever I run three miles I'm done for the day... but to run an "easy 11 miles?" Jesus. These track kids are going to make me feel like a piece of crap.

PinkFreud: your house sounds awesome, hopefully you get it. The 1/4 bath kind of sucks, though, admittedly. Having only one shower might suck.

PinkFreud 02-09-2006 12:45 PM

yeah it probably will suck only having one shower. but then again, we're in college. who needs to shower daily!

ew.

ps: i can't run at all. it comes with being a smoker. it also comes with just being out of shape.

kurrpt 02-09-2006 12:47 PM

haha

i used to skate HARD for 6 hours a day (semi-pro)

now, im so out of out shape, i find excuses to get out of going snowboarding, even when i get free lift tickets

I can run from the cops, but thats about it.

Jev 02-09-2006 01:34 PM

I can run pretty well, it's the only thing I can do. Not fast but I can keep going for ages.

ATM 02-09-2006 01:36 PM

I hate running. I am in a weight training class now, so I've actually been lifting rescently.

PinkFreud 02-09-2006 01:38 PM

i probably couldnt even run from the cops.

kurrpt 02-09-2006 01:39 PM

speaking of running

dont you guys think THE RUNNING MAN is like one of the best Arnold movies ever?

Jev 02-09-2006 01:40 PM

I've never seen it.
Anyone know a site where I can watch recent ads? Preferably UK ads.
