pit practice?
Orchestra for school play. I play guitar for it for some reason...counts towards extracurricular activity, which you need to do a crapload of in high school.

I really, truly can't stand it though. Conductor can't keep time, and won't admit he's wrong.

Jom 03-19-2006 12:00 AM
Yeah, I've tried stuff like that (and found how to repond to whatever comments come up), but I've yet to see the same message twice, let alone anything I've entered. It hurts.

EDIT: It is extremely lame, though. This I cannot deny.
Yeah, I just discovered the novelty of the exclamation point. It reminds me of Eric's yourlittlesecrets site in that they both are pretty stupid.
I'm a big proponent for Trillian, heh. It's convenient for my personal AIM contacts and then MX contacts on MSN. If MX people need me on AIM for some reason, I just open up the actual AIM client.
I have about three AIM contacts, so it wasn't an issue :-D

blue3 03-19-2006 12:37 AM

I rarely use AIM anymore. Most people I know use MSN anyways.

Jom 03-19-2006 12:43 AM

Heh, I still use DeadAIM to log my conversations and clone AIM clients. It's a nifty little thing, really.

*gulp*

Well, I will most assuredly lose power, and the Uni will be closed too, so I will not be online for a while, my fellows.

By the way, email me and tell me if this makes a blip on the radar in North America, or Europe. I doubt it will, of course. We were forcefed almost 6 weeks of coverage on Hurricane Katrina, though.

Also, the ALL IN CAPS parts are their doing, not mine.

As Bartender said
Nice of them to shout the relevant parts for you
Apocalyptic Raids 03-19-2006 06:11 AM

When I saw that on the news I though of you. Seriously.

:-*

Jev 03-19-2006 06:12 AM

I haven't seen it on the news yet.

Jev 03-19-2006 09:58 AM

I prefer last FM to be honest.

Edit - I've also never really tried Pandora so I can really share my opinion.

Josh 03-19-2006 11:45 AM

last FM = new audioscrobbler, records what you listen to, gives stats on favourite songs / artists etc.

pandora.com suggests new artists for you to listen to.

so what is V For Vendetta about?

/lazy

Shattered_Future 03-19-2006 12:12 PM

Something about totalitarian governments and freedom fighters...

I'm so bored. I'm noticing my guitar playing's getting better. I love it when you go back to a song you gave up on because you couldn't play it and you can play it now.

I have to sign up for next year's classes this week, but I'm extremely nervous because I'm going to be pissed if the classes I want get filled (they go by class status, so even though I'm basically going to get first dibs, I am the last to go due to alphabet bullshit :upset:).

I have four potential schedules going, and I'm more or less happy with them, but I'm going to be a-swearin' if my schedules are going to be mish-mashed.

Man that's unfair, you're telling me you might not be able to get the class you want because of your last name?

Jom 03-19-2006 12:56 PM
Man that's unfair, you're telling me you might not be able to get the class you want because of your last name?
Haha, yeah. Every year I seem to get screwed because they alternate them ever year, but because I take enough credits to move up in class standing, I always get F'd in the A. Meh, oh well, what can ya do but hope for the best? At least underclassmen won't be yanking my classes.

But I'm pretty excited for the classes I'm going to be taking (provided that I don't get F'd in the A). All the professors seem to be pretty cool and while they're going to suck in terms of workload, I should only expect to have a shitty workload, as I'm near graduation.

Jev 03-19-2006 12:59 PM

Can't you legally change your name to Arnold Aaaaaabacus or something?

Lord Abortion 03-19-2006 01:00 PM

Anyone have any Trevor Dunn material they would like to trade?

Shred Danson 03-19-2006 01:06 PM
Can't you legally change your name to Arnold Aaaaaabacus or something?
Someone changed his name to Jesus Christ, so I'm guessing, yeah.

Josh 03-19-2006 01:07 PM
Someone changed his name to Jesus Christ, so I'm guessing, yeah.
that would bug me, due to the number of people you tend to hear saying "Jesus Christ!!" when they've dropped something in the street, or screwed something up.

Jom 03-19-2006 01:10 PM

Haha, no, my last name doesn't begin with a Z, or in the last quarter of the alphabet at all. It's just something stupid my uni does, I guess.

But yeah, I gotta be optimistic. Hopefully it'll work out.

And then I start my professional program in two years :amaze:

I'm pretty much terrified. But we'll see.

Mr. Black 03-19-2006 01:19 PM

I want too know why :amaze: people make that face when they're amazed?

Jom 03-19-2006 01:20 PM

I'm all about the eyes bulging/jaw dropping thing, not necessarily the laughing part that follows.

It's kind of like  moreso than :amaze:.

Mr. Black 03-19-2006 01:23 PM

Hey Happy, how do you earn points on that game?
