I just read some article on a site that Jimmy Page agreed to sign an upcoming movie called [I]Lords of Dogtown[/I] the Songs Hots on for Nowhere and Achilles Last Stand. But what gets me is that its a skateboarding movie...wtf is Page thinking signing two songs like that to some punk LA street skateboarding movie?

A friend of mine just told me today that's he's recieved two unconditional offers for Leeds next year. So hopefully he'll end up coming here too, which should be fun.

I didn't realise Med was applying this year.
I've had a few letters back saying my application is being considered, but nothing other than that. My application got off late though so I'm pleased to have heard anything.

Oh ok. They did at my school (though it was really more of a glorified RS/RE class), but I didn't take it. I still got into a university to do philosophy (one of the biggest philosophy departments in England, incidentally) and I'm doing fine. So it's not really a requirement most of the time.
