that sucks that stella got cancelled. i never missed an episode, i was hooked on it.

i can't sleep. for the last 3 days i've tried going to bed early, and i just lay there in silence for hours, then i get frustrated and go find something to do to pass time.

My friend got me hooked on the O.C.. I've never heard of Stella though.
I believe that the sleep you get on one night is dependant of the sleep you got the night prior to that.

The new season sounded terrible on TV.. it starts out "Jack is dead.. but they brought him back to life!" or something.. and I'm just like "..Oh. Sounds lame." But to each his own. (That's also in defence to my OC addiction..)

oh god they made it sound dumb...

at the end of the last season, Jack was caught kidnapping a terrorist suspect in the Chinese embassy, and China demanded he be turned over to them (its China, so he'll be ****ed). In order to get out of it, his allies within the office did this cover-up where the FBI agent 'shot' him, even though really Jack had his heart stopped. As soon as the FBI agent left, they revived Jack, and he fled the building.

So yeah techinically he did 'die' but not in the sense of what the ad said.

You realize they threw that together when they were allowed to do another season right? :p

That's pretty much how all tv works (the series that have a storyline, at any rate)

hmmm i honestly don't believe so

24 is a very popular show, I don't think the writers had to worry about it not being continued

the thing is, the original concept of 24 can get old fast, and they had to change it up in the past several seasons so its not the same old "Jack at CTU goes and saves the world again." For example, at the beginning of last season, Jack quit CTU and works for the DoD, but obviously through story plots and stuff he ends up working for CTU anyway.

This plot should be very interesting though, seeing as how Jack is now the 'bad guy' to the entire US government, and China for that matter. Should put a completely new, fresh twist on things.

NAMM is coming up soon. might be able to go. woot. i hope so.

The best episode of that one is where Shawn gets detention for the whole class, then he falls asleep and dreams that he's locked in the school and there's a killer chasing them (but the killer turns out to be Shawn anyways) and the best part was when they were looking for the killer and someone says "I bet he's behind us right now!" So they all turn around and the killer (in a Scream mask, of course) runs by where they were all just facing.

i used to watch those types of shows, like in the late 90s and stuff....

after i saw Babylon 5, I couldn't watch TV for years, it just sucks so much in comparison.

even now i have trouble liking a lot of television, though there are several, but few, good shows out there (i.e. 24)

Today was annoying.
First off, I spent all of first period desperately trying to contain my anger. This stupid little idiot who thinks he knows everything about instruments wouldn't stop talking. He says that Ibanez makes horrible basses, and that a Rogue would be a better alternative. He said that any old low end acoustic would sound just as good as a midrange solid top, and that a Squier acoustic would sound far better than an Ovation.
But, that wasn't the worst of it.
He started to talk about cymbals.
He said he wanted to replace his Pro Sonix with ZXT's. He insulted Paiste, Istanbul, Meinl, and Bosphorus, saying that Zildjian and Sabian are really the only alternative if you want pro range cymbals, the Zildjain Z Customs being the ultimate.
I just wanted to walk back there and beat him in the skull with a chair until he either died or got a little bit smarter.
But I didn't.
I sat there like a dunce.

THEN in Gym, my big fat old hag of a teacher started to get on my case about why I choose to abstain from playing. I simply told her that I don't like it, and that I don't see much point in doing something that is only going to make me misreble in the long run. I told her that participating in groups only teaches me to rely on others, and not myself, so it only proves to be deductive in the long run.
She called my mother, and now everybody is pissed off at me.
