I saw Fear Before the March of Flames, Bear Vs. Shark, Since By Man and Fall Of Troy on Thursday. It was fun. I recommend doing the same if possible.
I have.

It went:
BvS > Fall of Troy > FBTMOF > Since By Man

I saw the movie Palindromes an hour ago. It was a very interesting movie, I enjoyed it but wasn't completely fulfilled with the final few lines. Anyone else see it?

Anxious 11-05-2005 04:35 PM
I'm fairly sure he responded.
Me too.

Nope, but last night I bought Harold and Maude, a movie I saw in english last year, that movie rules.

Anxious 11-05-2005 04:53 PM

The last movie I saw was, Batman Begins, it was ok.

JonM 11-05-2005 04:54 PM

I just saw Jarhead, and I thought it was really good, but there was some little element missing from it and I can't put my finger on what it was. Definitely see it, though.

Yeah, I plan on checking this out in the next week or so. I think it'll be good.

Aaaahhh hahah

Every time I go to the movie store I laugh at that movie box. I laugh hard.

6Stringer 11-05-2005 06:12 PM

I wish I could see Fall of Troy live, sadly they never come anywhere close to where I live.

Everytime I hear about "The Pianist" I laugh out loud.

That makes me a bad person, doesn't it?

I know what you mean. The acting and emotions were excellent, but I felt it was a little lacking in the content department. Also, that cool part in the previews where the guy's behind the huge gun and he blows a bubble isn't in the movie.

I saw Saw II in the same day. It was gross.

BillCosby 11-05-2005 08:50 PM

I'm going to see Jarhead in about an hour and a half (instead of going to Homecoming.. :/).

Electrocution 11-05-2005 08:57 PM

There was a headline on netscape.com that said 'States Stopping Child Hunters?' I interpreted this to mean the states were banning people who hunt children, but apparently it's just kids who kill animals.

ATM 11-05-2005 08:57 PM

I watched Ghost World today.

el doctor 11-05-2005 09:00 PM

I saw The Squid and the Whale last night. Good acting, good story, and humor that's just as funny as it is saddening. Very enjoyable film.

And now I just watched Spoon on Austin City Limits. I liked the performance, although the fact they they only played one old song was slightly disappointing.

ATM 11-05-2005 09:03 PM

I can't wait for the Johnny Cash movie.

The Great Decay 11-05-2005 09:08 PM

I just saw a preview for that, it looked interesting.

6Stringer 11-05-2005 09:13 PM

I'm really looking forward to it.

Daniel! 11-05-2005 10:34 PM

Even if the movie sucks, the trailer will still be one of the coolest trailers ever. The movie won't suck, though.

YDload 11-05-2005 10:38 PM

I don't like how the guy playing Cash sounds nothing like him. I mean, nobody does, but couldn't they get someone a LITTLE bit closer? Still, it should be an interesting story.

Daniel! 11-06-2005 12:54 AM

Guy Picciotto's forehead is very strangely shaped.

Your face is strangely shaped.

Great Decay, I love your avatar.

JonM 11-06-2005 10:45 AM

God, Soulseek is amazing, isn't it?

6Stringer 11-06-2005 10:51 AM

That it is Jon, that it is.

Wanker 11-06-2005 10:52 AM
The MoMA is amazing. Enjoy all of it. You probably won't read this until you get back, but whatevzz.
It actually was pretty awesome. Just the walking-around was kinda lame.

My favorite painting was a post-modernist one that had a cube with a pile of crap on top of it.

Daniel! 11-06-2005 02:15 PM
God, Soulseek is amazing, isn't it?
Sure is.

This one looks gorgeous, I'm highly anticipating this one. The only movie I'm looking forward to more is Capote, but that's because I'm in love with Philip Seymour Hoffman. :D

lilsolsman 11-06-2005 02:41 PM

I saw Requim for a Dream again today. It's one of my favorite movies of all time, it's damn depressing though.

Zmev 11-06-2005 02:58 PM

That it is.

I like showing people that movie and seeing their reaction.

Iai 11-06-2005 03:08 PM

I've never even heard of it.

The Great Decay 11-06-2005 03:16 PM

There was a drug presentation at my school once and they showed us clips from that movie, but I've never watched it.

superpeer 11-06-2005 03:31 PM

I think I might have seen it, but that I was too stoned to remember anything of it now.

NP: Weezer - El Scorcho

Zappa 11-06-2005 03:43 PM

I hated that movie.

Wanker 11-06-2005 03:45 PM

Requiem still wasn't as good as Pi.

lilsolsman 11-06-2005 03:54 PM
I hated that movie.
What did you hate about it?
I saw Requim for a Dream again today. It's one of my favorite movies of all time, it's damn depressing though.
I saw that for the first time a couple days ago. The mother is just :upset:. Acting was brilliant.

Zappa 11-06-2005 04:38 PM
What did you hate about it?
Basically, I found it impossible to feel for any of the characters. I think this is because they weren't developed in such a way that I could identify them as human beings first, drug victims second. The characters seemed to me like vehicles for displaying disturbing images, and that to me kept said images from being nearly as effective as they could have been.

Luxor 11-06-2005 05:16 PM
Requiem still wasn't as good as Pi.
Please tell me you're kidding.

Happymeal 11-06-2005 05:17 PM

<3 Jennifer Connelly. Haven't watched that though.

I just got home from jamming with my friends, it was pretty rad.

Zappa 11-06-2005 05:21 PM
Please tell me you're kidding.
I agree with his statement. I thought Pi was really neat, and I already gave my opinion of Requiem.
