Cool news: I d/led The Leper Affinity last night and it was much more listenable than the last time I tried Opeth, I am happy.

I got me mine about a week before christmas, and yes it was hard to of finally got it over with

Cain 01-28-2005 11:59 AM

Yeah, except I'm 18. I haven't had it for two years that I should have. Since I live out in the sticks in Connecticut it makes it impossible to do ANYTHING without your parents. Nervousness caused me to fail my first test, and I was so demoralized it took me another three months just to sign up for another date. The story of my driver's liscense acquisition is one of the great dramas of my life, as I doubt it was for you. I could be wrong though. :)

I'm in NY so we have to wait 6 months after getting our permit if we're younger than 18 to get our lisence. Then we have to wait until 18 to be allowed to drive after 9 PM. Solution - Sneak out.

Invicta_Veritas 01-28-2005 12:16 PM

I'm 20 and have already had mine revoked for speeding and reinstated once.

Have any of you guys had your tonsils removed and if you did how did they go about removing them?
Just wondering because I have tonsilitis(or whatever its called) and I'm pretty sure I have to get my tonsils removed

LordDargon 01-28-2005 12:20 PM

I'll be 16 in a week. I don't give a crap one way or the other about my license.

Everyone listen to Ophiolatry:

It's the most painful thing ever. You can't eat anything for a weak, you have to drink it all but to swallow feels like gettign stabbed. There are a few nerves in there that for some reason are resistant to anesthesia so you can feel it un;less they knock you out. Sorry dude, it's going to be miserable.

I am a liar. I still have my tonsils.

Wow, there's a 20 year old on this forum

Bartender 01-28-2005 12:33 PM

There are several 20+ year olds on this forum.

In other news, one of my flatmates just asked me why Kittie don't appear in any metal magazines, and I responded that they do, citing Metal Hammer, who feature them often. I told him they weren't in magazines like Terrorizer because they weren't extreme, and he responded that they were more extreme than most of the bands in Terrorizer.

:(

I mean, I know Terrorizer isn't perfect..but Kittie?

There's people alot order than 20 on here. Jarviss is in his late 30's I think. Dboon's Ghost is around that as well.

LordDargon 01-28-2005 12:35 PM

Seems everyone hates that mag, I've seen it called "Fairyrizer" numerous times. I don't get any metal mags.

Clicky on that linky everyone

Yeah, Jondur and Legions are both mid-late 20s, and Kilburn is 22, I think. That guy in Death and Taxes (the band) who used to post here, whose screen name I've temporarily forgotten, was over 30. Approaching forty, maybe. There'll be plenty more we just don't know.

EDIT: Jaylink, was it?

They pander a bit to what's new and (relatively, for extreme music) popular, I suppose, but it's not that bad. It's a reasonable source for information, anyway.
