The Brad 10-02-2006 11:58 PM

There's a quote in my art history book from 1900, I believe and it goes a little something like this:
The world has changed more in the past thirty years than it has since the time of Christ.

funkyhoney 10-03-2006 12:00 AM

i just downloaded a 12 song live set from toast machine, damn they're good

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:00 AM

I want a Taylor now.

My gas is never going to get any better :upset:

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:02 AM

It will when you realize you do not require earthly possessions.

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:02 AM

I love my ovation more than life. But I want to be able to say "Now, do I want to play my ovation or my taylor"

:upset:

EDIT: At some point in time, I'm going to need a normal acoustic anyway

THE SUN NEVER SETS ON THE BRITISH EMPIRE!

I lost participation points in my world history class because when asked "What empire did the sun never set on?" I said the roman.

Speaking of Hitler, today in class the teacher wanted words that things that started with the prefix "anti," and I almost blurted out "anti-Semitism," but I withheld it for I didn't want to be known as the class racist. :(

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:09 AM

I wouldn't have taken that as racism...?

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:12 AM

Don Mclean is better than I thought...
I wouldn't have taken that as racism...?
You might not have, but let's think about it. How many kids immediate thoughts are "anti-Semitism"? :p

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:22 AM

I probably would have said Anti-Christ. :p
But then again, I am an "evil" d00d.

funkyhoney 10-03-2006 12:25 AM

DR Lo-Riders.

Great low and low-mid definition.

You might also want to try the Hi-Beams for a brighter sound or the Fat-Beams (Marcus Miller signature set) for a good mid range.

Basicallt you cannot go wrong with DR

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:35 AM

Sweet Protege.

Jody the kid from Murrieta wants your SR.

antidisestablishmentarianism

I endorse DR strings too. :O
We're almost like brothers.
Nordies and DRs.

nicatterberry 10-03-2006 12:37 AM

And with that, I'm goin to bed. Finished my research paper in a record time of 4 and a half hours.

Gnight.

I've been writing my paper for a week now. :(

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:39 AM

Speaking of which, I am expecting the Nordies this week with some luck.

And we could never be brothers, I lack any sort of ability to grow a decent beard.

You bastard you stole all the beard genes from our mama :thumb:

Lo-Riders are great all round, don't get me wrong.

The Hi-Beams are just that bit brighter, but Lo-Riders are known for their slap tone and believe me it is a very good slap tone

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:41 AM

Well, I just use my moms car. See, shes not allowed to drive due to seizures. So I just use her car and the joint insurance is ungodly cheaper.

The Brad 10-03-2006 12:43 AM

No sir, you are confused. I do not know my papa.

Jody - The kid in Murrieta that wants to trader his Schecter for a different bass.

Jody LeCompte 10-03-2006 12:44 AM

Been almost 20 years now, the store must be pretty far away.

I actualy recon that would drive me mad.

I would always feel like I was neglecting instruments.

I think that at most I will own 10 store bought basses and then try and make several others.
