Hi!!

Untitled 07-25-2004 11:32 AM

Hi guys

Kimi crashed :upset: *starts crying*

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 11:34 AM

Hi Butler
Button 2nd! Taku 8th. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Webber got a few points, too!

Untitled 07-25-2004 11:36 AM

Yea button had an amazing drive, coming from 13th to get 2nd is quiet good.

Kimis rear wing failed  he went off in the exact same place as he crashed last year, bout time jag got pionts, im wearing my jag teeshirt so maybe its lucky. wooo.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 11:38 AM

Mark Webber is so cool. He's got a great website showing all his charity work. He is such a top bloke. Will he ever be F1 Champion, though??

Untitled 07-25-2004 11:43 AM

Hes almost certianly moveing to williums next year so he might do, he has the talent to.

IVe always like webber since his first race when he got a piont for minardi, hes a cool guy, he seems realy down to earth to, and charity work is good.

Mika Hakkenen is apperently thinkin about a return to F1, which will be good for the sport as theres only one world champ compeating atm.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 11:46 AM

Yeah, I've missed Hakkinen. I hate Coulthard, he's so arrogant! I really like Raikkonen, though; The Ice Man.

Untitled 07-25-2004 11:50 AM

I dont mind coulthard, but button is number 1 brit now, Kimi my favorite driver, he has been since hakkanen and irvine left.

I was a bit pissed off when the crowd started chearing when they saw kimi crash out at like 150mph, if it was an engine prob it would be bad, but he could of been seriously hurt and there all laughing. Kimi would of proberly won if it wasnt for that as he was faster then the firrari.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 11:54 AM

Yeah, but the crowd was mainly made up of German Ferrari fans... So they'll be a little biased. Hope he's OK, though

Untitled 07-25-2004 11:57 AM

Yea, he walked away from it, he manged to through the stearing wheel, prob true about german fans.

Buttons helmet was on right so the majority of the race, he was driving one handed nad holding the helmet down on the striaghts, that makes his 2nd better as he had to do that and it didnt make him loose his concentration.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 12:00 PM

I know, and had Button not had to have the engine changed... Would he have won??

Untitled 07-25-2004 12:07 PM

Theres a chance he could of won, he had the speed to, he qualed in 3rd and they fueled him 5 laps longer then shumacher, so he could of got pole to.

I guess we'll never know, Hopefully hell win this season. Next race is 3 weeks away though, and the testing ban has now kicked in.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 12:10 PM
I guess we'll never know, Hopefully hell win this season. Next race is 3 weeks away though, and the testing ban has now kicked in.
I hope he wins one this season, just to show everyone he can do it.
Really? I didn't know there was a ban

Untitled 07-25-2004 12:13 PM

Yea, its like a summer brake there not allowed to test for the next 3 weeks or longer, so what ever improvments they put on the car they have to keep and no improvments are aloud, im not sure how long the ban lasts for though.

Its like a summer 3 week brake as there not allowed to do anything.

Oh. I always thought testing was vital to car maintenance, though

I see you're approaching 1,500 !

Untitled 07-25-2004 12:19 PM

Ahh so i am. Ill save my 1500 post for in here :thumb:

There aloud to test at the tracks on the friday/saterday to get the setups and the stuff they usualy do.

But there not aloud to go to places like Jerez, Barcalona, sliverstone, well any big testing track and test during to week to improve the car.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 12:29 PM

Don't save it for The Pit- it's getting worse than ever!!!

Ah, right. I see the new McLaren is going pretty well...

Untitled 07-25-2004 12:32 PM

Yea kimi got 2nd in sliverstone, should of won today, both cars got the 2nd row of the grid today.

The ITV crew said it there proformance cant just change over night, but it looks like it has.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 12:35 PM

Yeah, it's probably the third best car...

Untitled 07-25-2004 12:44 PM

2nd id say, BAR doesnt quite have the speed and one of the factors button has had so many podiums is becuase Mclaren werent on top form, and renult could do better to.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 12:53 PM

Ah, right. What's up with the Jordans? They're well down on pace and aren't battling for fourth place in the Constructors' Championship like they have been

Untitled 07-25-2004 01:01 PM

They havnt got the funding, no money means no money for improvement, for good drivers. Benson And Hedges used to have a big deal with them but the started to under proform and instend of advertising on the side pods, and nose and rear wing. they only advertise on the nose and rear.

The side pods pull the biggest amount of money as its the most space so without that there income was less, and they slowly got worse.

And as there geting worse, theres less air time, so yet less money from the sponsers.

Untitled 07-25-2004 01:07 PM

http://uk.cricinfo.com/db/NEW/LIVE/frames/WI_ENG_T1_22-26JUL2004.html

It has been a great match!!

Untitled 07-25-2004 01:19 PM

Alright cool

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:19 PM

Gayle was monstrous, wasn't he?! Such a destructive player.
What about the Giles/Chanderpaul catch? I was devastated when Koertzen didn't give it out

Untitled 07-25-2004 01:20 PM

1500 :chug:

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:21 PM
1500 :chug:
Congrats, sir.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:28 PM
Yeah, that was a terrible decision, but I guess it balances out that Lara "catch" in the first innings. We really should use technology for catches I think.
Yeah, but you don't need technology for that decision! It was so obvious it hurt.

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:36 PM
Good point now I think of it actually.... He was probably still recovering from that Harmison ball. That was a top piece of bowling.
Ah. He's had a poor match, though, Harmy. But, good ol' Gile-o taking care of business!

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:43 PM
Who would have thought it...Harmison being arguably our worst bowler, but Ashley Giles coming to the rescue twice in conscutive tests!! The wonders of English cricket...
Hey, don't knock Giles. He's been getting genuine turn and drift so far in the two home series

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:47 PM

No, he's a containment bowler; used to cut off runs and force a mistake rather than bowl to trouble the batsman like, Warne, Murali, etc

Stick-Munch 07-25-2004 01:56 PM
It would just be nice if we could finally unearth a top-class spinner.
There are 2 or 3 good young 'uns at the moment; Monty Panesar is rated the best. He's an Indian wristy-type lefty finger spinner

I'll be back in a bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See yous all

craig 07-25-2004 02:36 PM

Gay I was banned:evil: for a whole 5 days for arguing with someone in the Report problem users page:evil:
