Alright, what's the Gimp business. I just figured out/found BOTAR, and now you're throwing some other band at me.

Jessizzle 01-10-2006 04:12 PM

gimp is thomas's band from when he was like 14 or something like that.

zarnoz 01-10-2006 04:37 PM

niceeee about KN2

does it mention permanent revolusion by c22

its comes out this year too

i wonder how much is gonna be against tomas

Liebensaft 01-10-2006 04:39 PM

Permanent Revolution is out in June. What the hell are you talking about?

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-10-2006 04:49 PM

Wow. I don't know if I'm going to be too happy about this KN2. It'll kinda ruin my reason to listen to C22 unless they make the songs different.

Jessizzle 01-11-2006 04:56 PM

Hey eric, remember when streetlight leaked, and we were listening to it. and no one would believe us that it actually leaked, they just thought it was a joke.
Well whos laughing now?

I meant this part:
i wonder how much is gonna be against tomas
tappenzee 01-11-2006 08:49 PM

I hope SM completely knock every song out of the park and take those songs back as Tomas's OWN
I hope SM completely knock every song out of the park and take those songs back as Tomas's OWN
Yeah, but we all know that isn't going to happen

Henrik 01-12-2006 10:17 AM

I can't see why the new catch 22 album should be against Tomas. I have never ever heard any of the two (ex catch vs new catch) saying that they hated each other. And if they did, why should streetlight have a catchmember to be their agent.
The only prove is the line in a moment of silence, but that could just as well be about something else.

_lower_class_brat_ 01-12-2006 10:29 AM

are these like the same band?

Henrik 01-12-2006 10:36 AM

who....catch 22 and Streetlight manifesto??? Nope.

3 members from catch 22 (including the songwriter and singer) broke out and some years later they formed Streetlight with guys from One cool guy.

Catch 22 continued with new members and a very different sound.

_lower_class_brat_ 01-12-2006 10:56 AM

what about B.O.T.A.R.?

albert_bass 01-12-2006 11:00 AM

BOTAR are some people from SM and other guys playing acoustic ska. I think there's Thomas' brother there too.

Alone In A Crowd wasn't very different

Liebensaft 01-12-2006 02:11 PM

Alone in a Crowd and Dinosaur Sounds are both so disappointing.

AIRIC 01-12-2006 02:13 PM

Catch-22 are disapointing all together save KN. Even their live show.

Liebensaft 01-12-2006 02:16 PM

Keasbey Nights is arguably one of the best ska-punk albums in existence. Catch 22 minus Tomas is still a mediocre ska group, but knowing that at one time they made Keasbey Nights, it's hard to listen to their newer stuff.

albert_bass 01-12-2006 02:16 PM

Alone In A Crowd is great.

Keasbey nights is a masterpiece though.

Henrik 01-12-2006 02:44 PM
Alone In A Crowd wasn't very different
I think so. Not as much as DS though.
The song on Alone in a crowd that IMO reminds the most of Keasbey nights is What goes around comes around. That's by far by favorite non-keasbey nights song too:).

albert_bass 01-12-2006 02:46 PM

I love Hard To Impress and Bloomfield Ave.
