With 6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence, does anyone here know what the 6 degrees are? Like, I relate to one of the songs quite closesly and just wondering what the song is dealing with.

Well these walls is now my favourite DT song.

The songs are unrelated, and 6 Degrees the song is one song.

the first disk of 6 Degree's..eh..it's alright, it has some decent parts..like Glass Prison, it's alright
disk two, the entire 6 Degree's thing..all, eight songs..yeah, it is one song in a sense, but each mini song is one seperate track, what I think the best songs off disk two are..War Inside My Head, The Test That Stumped Them All, and About To Crash(Reprise)

I ordered this cd off the Sound Mind Music Store on 03/18. Its now 03/27 and it still says my order is "pending." I was curious as to how long it took all of you to get your copy...when I ordered the DT bootlegs, I had already received them by this time. And this album means so much more to me, so its twice as hard to wait! Please let me know if it took this long too, so I know whether or not its normal. Thanks guys! :thumb:

I don't think it'll be pick-uppable. The website said it was exclusively available through the Sound Mind Music Store. Maybe my local shop will be able to get it in for me.

Well, the song 6 Degrees is about 6 different people with different mental problems. For example, I believe the first suffers from depression, the second was in a war and went psycho, the third had delusions, and so forth. The 4th person, the one in [I]Goodnight Kiss[/I] was about a mother and a daughter who were split up, the fifth person is kinda explained in the name, and the last one, it seems like she just randomly dosed off to avoid people.

"Octavarium" (the track) is an epic. The only songs I've listened to are These Walls, Panic Attack, and Octavarium. Time to listen to the whole thing.

i wish i had the drum kit they use i have a concert 3 bass drums! i want so much wouldnt fit in my roon though :S

I think the mental disorder in The Test That Stumped Them All is not in relation to the boy but in relation to the doctors or whatever treating him as in the song they are made to sound stupid etc. and it sounds like there's nothing wrong with the boy.

and on the topic of the new album I myself respect DT enough to wait for the official release of the new CD rather than downloading a 'leaked' version even though it's probably just something named wrong on p2p stuff. One of the 'leaked' versions was just James Labrie's new CD Elements of Persuasion renamed to "OMG DT!!!!1111one one"

I'm listening to the leak now. I don't think any of LaBrie's solo stuff has a 24 minute song that contains the lyric "Trapped inside this, OCTAVARIUM!". It's real.

Where did you find the leak? Can you get it on p2ps?
