one they did with vh1 on family jewels. you can find it on vh1's website
Care to post a link. Checked that site and didn't find anything to back you up.

Not doubting you, that much, but a link would clarify.

Marty 05-30-2005 07:20 AM
Im sure it does, Ive heard bits if hail caeser which was really good. Possibly next AC/DC purchase after I complete the bon-era collection.
Do people regurlarly go to that site? I prefer the fan sites myself.

Bucky 05-31-2005 06:19 PM

That is their official site, so I would assume that it is widely used.
ive got stiff upper lip live but in my opinion no bull is way better, they go to more trouble with effects ( wrecking balls, rising platforms etc.) and they just put on a better show.
I don't own SUL but the show on No Bull I didn't really like, the sound quality was not that good, you could barely hear Brian over the guitar, bass and drums. If your looking for the best AC/DC DVD then I would go with Live at Donnington, that is a ****in amazing DVD. That and I didn't really like the SUL setlist.

ledhed1 05-31-2005 08:27 PM

Ya Angus has the most talent in the band by far.
Their stuff is very catchy, especially the riff to thunderstruck its sweet.
But theyre definitely not my favorite band.
I cant listen to them for long periods of time like i can Hendrix or Zeppelin.

rippa32 05-31-2005 10:19 PM

Yeah thunderstruck is a great song.

Just read that they will be recording the new album in the UK and have a tentative release date of late '05 to early '06. Not sure if this is new news or not. I'm quite pumped for it though, as I'm sure everyone else in here is. Sounds like they're really putting a lot of work into it and trying to improve with this record.

yeh should be bloody good. apparently they have a name for the album "Strap it on" i think there goin to call it or so i have heard. Ive also heard that they have enough material for two albums but want to make it into one fukin awesome album, so they are taken their time to make it really good.

rippa32 06-01-2005 01:10 AM

Everyone thought it was Strap It On for a while. That was later disregarded as false. But yeah should be good. I reckon itll do for em what Razors Edge did.

ArcLite 06-01-2005 01:22 AM

I'd like to believe you, but I can't help thinking this will be their last album and they will just tour on it until they're heading to hang it up for good. Just my own speculation though.

SpongeB0b 06-01-2005 01:29 AM

They habe catchy riffs and some good songs though IMO they are overrated but they are still good! and Angus is so fun to watch! :)

Yeah I wouldnt be surprised. At least theyll go out on a very good note.

I sure hope so, and it would be a sensational way to go out if they did decide to end their careers after this upcoming album.

rippa32 06-01-2005 05:17 AM

I have a feeling they will just due to pure age. It probably wont be official though. Theyll just stop making albums.

maddog87 06-01-2005 07:19 AM

thats pretty sad.no more new tunes after this one.........................................................................................

evan6the9punk 06-01-2005 07:45 AM

AC/DC i think are gods. Great riffs that are simple and they have a kick *** image and sound.

Its not all bad. this one will raise the tally of albums to 18. Thats more than most bands.

maddog87 06-03-2005 07:37 PM

still, the gods are calming down...:(

wookieofdoom 06-03-2005 07:52 PM

angus is great I hope the band keeps going as long as it can

rippa32 06-03-2005 07:53 PM

Yer it is a bit sad.

mmettalldemon 06-03-2005 09:58 PM

if they come anywhere in my state on tour my friends mom said she would take me and him to see them.

Besides, they've put out a lot of music anyway.

Brain Toad 06-03-2005 10:23 PM

Me and my friends have been discussing AC/DC really heavily lately, an awesome band that I can never get tired of. Their simplicity makes them really fun to listen to. And got to love their dirty sense of humour.

mmettalldemon 06-03-2005 10:51 PM

^^that's one one of the things that draws me to listen to them is their dirty sense of humor.

rippa32 06-04-2005 01:03 AM

Yeah thats true. Of course Big Balls gets a bit tiring.

AB/CD 06-04-2005 12:47 PM

only time AC/DC are gonna stop releasing new material and touring is when they feel they "arent cutting the mustard" so that day will probably never come album isnt being called strap it on nor is it going to be a double disk Brian Johnson said that as a joke because they had so much material written.

anyway every1s current fave songs at the minute? mine is little lover i think its different compared to what AC/DC normally done its a wee bit cheesy aswell just shows an all round different side to the band.
