You f'ucking liar, shut up.

The trombonist quit Streetlight anyway.

if he's in a band like SM, why would he f'uck his life away teaching pre-pubescent children how to play wanky classical music?
dude... he was a full time band teacher, and now he's part time/hardly ever.

skankinBassist 02-10-2005 06:16 PM
Anyone know if Streetlight's coming to Canada any time soon?
their news page said they would book some canada shows for next season

Don't worry canada! Streetlight knows you are a separate country from America!

Everyone likes them pretty much.

littlebeast 03-14-2005 10:59 AM

Their the best band. Better than the Clash.

albert_bass 03-14-2005 12:03 PM

Yeah, there have been several threads about them. I suppose everyone knows them now. I love them and their album is currently my favorite album ever (at least for some time).

Arucard 03-14-2005 12:55 PM

Im seeing them three times in about a month.

/Obsessive.

By the way, this thread is several times overdone.

Anti-Prefix 03-14-2005 02:02 PM

My favorite song by them is "We Are The Few" awesome band.

Brain Toad 03-14-2005 02:48 PM

Amazing band, not much better.

Forest_Fire 03-14-2005 02:56 PM
My favorite song by them is "We Are The Few" awesome band.
pretty much that ^^

I think they may be starting to get overrated though. Plenty of people talk about them as if they're a new wave or something completely different; and they're really good, but they're not that great.

dkm4life010 03-14-2005 03:01 PM

awesome band

Otis9791 03-14-2005 03:57 PM

Street light good band but...

Streetlights got some issues if u had been to their shows they are good and can play but they give other ska bands a lot of **** and need to get over themselves. They got a **** attitude and need stop givin detroit a bad rap.

Jaw, Knee, B. Goode 03-14-2005 04:05 PM

There a great band.

SantaDuJuan 03-14-2005 04:11 PM

What are you talking about? They have been nothing but positive the two times I've seen them (5 if you count the 2 live mp3 shows and 1 video recording). They only band they've said anything remotly negetive about is someone called out for them to play "Alone in a Crowd" by catch 22 after thomas left and he responded "keep saying that and you'll be alone in a crowd"

And... well... a moment of silence/violence are probably about catch 22 too....

So please, be more specific or people will just ignore you.

Yeah, he means that amazon lists Keasby Nights 2 as coming out then, but that isn't true.

Major General Despair 03-14-2005 06:50 PM

I think I'm one of the only people I know who don't like them or C22.

Forest_Fire 03-14-2005 07:29 PM

haha i just watched the music video for everything went numb. it's crazy

religionisascam 03-14-2005 08:51 PM

I like them. They have a good bassist. My favorite song is probably "A moment of violence".

nicolaB 03-14-2005 09:34 PM

'A Better Place a Better Time' is probably my favorite song by them. I could listen to that non-stop. I like most of their songs though... v. good band.

my own offbeat oddity 03-14-2005 10:20 PM
What the hell? They're from NJ.
I think he meant they said something bad about detriot. I think he simply doesn't know what the slang he is using means.

Arucard 03-15-2005 11:58 AM

Can someone give me a link to a Streetlight Video?

wearer of socks 03-15-2005 12:00 PM

Ive seen them quite a few times live. I am not a fan of ska, but they are an excellent band.

skankinBassist 03-15-2005 04:28 PM
haha i just watched the music video for everything went numb. it's crazy
Where'd you see that video? A link would be lovely.

PunkGuitarist 03-15-2005 04:40 PM

They are probably my favorite band. And I did not now there was a video for everything went numb.

Mike Goes Numb 03-15-2005 05:27 PM

Probably my favorite ska band, cough username cough. I know there is a video of everything goes numb on punkrockvids.com, the sound quality is kinda bad though. I also have a live video of them playing Dear Sergio, that videos kinda dark though, haha. You can AIM me for either of them if you need to.

OMGaDINOSAUR 03-15-2005 05:29 PM

Very good band.

skankinBassist 03-15-2005 05:56 PM

Ah, i actually think he was referring to that little Bamfer Productions video. It has those three Bamfer Production kids in it running around their house with toy guns. It's pretty good. The camera angles are actually extremely nice. But they needed to use the demo version of "Everything Went Numb" because it's a little shorter.

Live version of Everything Went Numb.... http://punkrockvids.com/downloads.html
