You're lucky.

I was looking forward to seeing them in Melbourne, but the tickets are too expensive. If they're still available in a month or two, i might be able to go.

blue3 06-03-2005 11:49 PM

Motley Crue is having a concert here in a few months, but it's already sold out, so whatever.

..I tried to make my friends hair "glam hair" but her hair just looked like a mess in the end.

Argh lucky! How much were the tickets?

Has anyone heard Crue's new song; "Sick Love Song "? If not, and you're interested, click.

In case you missed them on Friday night (I know I was hitting the bottle at the time :p), the repeat of the Crue on the Jonathan Wothh Show is on BBC3 at 10pm. I suggest someone tapes it.

I saw it and it was great show. A female member of the audience flashed at Tommy :amaze:

"5150" 06-06-2005 09:21 AM

Does anyone know what Skid Row are doing these days?

Jon 06-06-2005 09:22 AM

Touring.

Jon 06-06-2005 09:25 AM

With whoooo

Jon 06-06-2005 10:26 AM

They're on the road till august though...

Jon 06-08-2005 11:41 AM

So who's heard the new Hanoi album (Another Hostile Takeover)
http://www.hanoirocks.info/aht/

Its a good enough album, more Dogs D'amour than Hanoi I feel. But the thing which made their last 'new' album (Twelve Shots on the Rocks, 2003) amazing was it could easily have been recorded in 1984. This one sounds pretty modern.

But yeah, is it just me or is it reminisent (sp) of More Unchartered Heights of Disgrace by the Dogs?

Listen to the rebroadcast, who can name all the songs? I can't get the first one. The second one is L.A. Guns - Nothing To Lose.

ultimaterocker 06-09-2005 03:37 PM

im really happy to see motley crues comeback its refreshing.

SlashHalen 06-09-2005 04:43 PM

i like Van Halen, LA GUns, Bon Jovi. All really good bands in my opinion

Aeaon 06-09-2005 04:47 PM

Iggy Pop and David Bowie are very good stuff. Very underrated IMO. :thumb:

Jon 06-12-2005 06:33 AM

You used too much salt on your plate of chips. Having salt leftover after a meal is a good sign off a salt OD, and can cause major liver problems.

Be aware.

Jon 06-12-2005 06:50 AM

Nah, I just poured a pile out of a tube of Table Salt. Then I rinsed it off my mirror into the sink.

The only thing that's going up my nose until exams are over is my Hayfever spray ;)

clearvision 06-12-2005 06:55 AM

Mirror looked like a plate :-/

I sensed it was coke and tried to be funny...

/fayle...back to sleep

I have finished exams, but have to go back to coll tomorrow :(

Jon 06-12-2005 02:47 PM

Guess who just got standing tickets for the fucking Motley Crue at the NEC on Friday...

Jon 06-12-2005 04:54 PM

My tickets were £45 + P&P + £22 for the coach

/me watches Motley Live DVD.

"5150" 06-13-2005 10:00 AM

I hear Crue are releasing a live DVD of one of their shows on this current tour? If so I think it'd be great since Lewd Crued And Tattoed is missing Tommy. Crue are only 75% without Tommy.

Where's tommy? And did you do that math all by yourself? :amaze:

Dancin' Man 06-13-2005 10:59 AM

ATTN: Jon

Finish your FG.
Where's tommy? And did you do that math all by yourself? :amaze:
He was doing Methods Of Mayhem at the time. Yup I did do that MATHS by myself. Hurt your brain did it?

Canadian-Guy 06-13-2005 11:59 AM

Lucky guys seeing the Crue...I'd do anything to see "Shout At The Devil" performed live....

rockbrigade 06-13-2005 03:07 PM

my first concert was van halen.,....

boy wat a standard that set for all concerts ive seen.....only one, bryan adams, has even come close....

i saw def leppard a few weeks ago.....i love them, have all their albums...

but i was a little dissapointed....joe elliotts vocals have lost a bit of their luster...

but wat kind of made up for it was vivians cambells interpretations of steve clark's (may he rest in peace) original guitar work

Jon 06-14-2005 03:19 AM

Yeah man.

I'm nervous as hell for the Crue but I hung out with Dragonforce last night (I say hung out...it was for hours and hours, not omg hai /me faints) and met Zakk Wylde.

Jon 06-14-2005 09:36 AM

What I forgot to mention in my excitement is that ZP from Dragonforce is a huge glam fan and I was talking to him and their manager about Cinderella and stuff \:D/

Metallifan85 06-14-2005 10:35 AM

Ever hear Cats in Boots? I found them on usenet the other day, pretty cool stuff.

Jon 06-15-2005 05:25 AM

Guess who just got:
1987 American Girls tour VIP Pass
Limited edition 4 track 12" (You're All I Need, Home Sweet Home, Wild Side, Looks That Kill)
Limited edition 1988 UK tour poster
Shout... LP
Too Fast... LP

The Theater LP and the Harley Davidson Crue patch are arriving in a few days, as is Two Steps From The Move LP. All for around a tenner iirc

I'll check out Cats in Boots, but the name does ring a bell...

Shout it Out 06-15-2005 03:10 PM
Ever hear Cats in Boots? I found them on usenet the other day, pretty cool stuff.
I like 'em.

Anyone heard of Tigertailz? They're pretty good too.

Jon 06-16-2005 09:13 AM

Love Bomb Baby was great, they didn't really do that well apart from that. Did you hear their Creeping Death cover?

Oh, Mr Postie brought me:
Two Steps From The Move LP
Theater of Pain LP
Limited edition 4 track 12" Picture disk (You're All I Need, Home Sweet Home, Wild Side, Looks That Kill. the same as the one I have but a picture disk instead of the one in the sleeve and nice box) and Theater... tour poster as compensation for him losing the Harley patch.

AA-12 06-16-2005 09:17 AM

First post for me.

I like Def Leppard, KISS, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Poison, Cinderella, and Skid Row.

Dancin' Man 06-16-2005 10:19 AM

Jon 06-16-2005 10:52 AM
