Has anyone mentioned Ozzy?

yourface 11-19-2004 11:32 AM

Greatest front man ever, a very sexist thread. i can think of many far better female vocalist, than the ones mentioned. Not that im saying male vocalists are bad.

And how will anyone agree, everyone had some body differant.

Whats the point anyway, there's is to many who is the best, and who is the greatest threads on here.

AndyBenj 11-19-2004 11:50 AM

james hetfield - metallica or chester bennington - linkin park
The amount of sheer fanboyism and idiocy running in this thread is astounding.
fanboisim, well tell me are you a fan of anything, do you support or like to hear some bands over others. if you dont, then basically your telling everyone that you go home, and listen to ****ing yellow card or simple cutting your wrists. you die, come back, and listen to some other crap band like maybe good charlote or something. and if your not a fan of anything, then sadly your just a boy.

youll_remember_me 11-19-2004 12:46 PM

maynard james keenan is amazing, he doesnt sing about monsters, well except for the oens living in our society now. you never know what he is going to do, may it be come out in a dress, or put a fan member into a submission, while singing the song at the same time, i thing that deserves some brownie points. but bruce is good, hetfield, ozzy, mercury, it all depends, if you want to listen to some screaming, then you can listen to bodom, if you want metal, you listen to metallica, if you want brit metal, then you listen to iron maiden. but then again, if you want it all, you can listen to tool

SpikyPorcupine 11-19-2004 01:08 PM

I totally forgot Alexi Laiho, he's incredible when he playes live... Don't know if he's a human. :) Whatever... And Iggy Pop, of course! He's so energetic on stage and he has done the best gigs of all time.

IAJP 11-19-2004 05:20 PM

Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey,
but don't forget Ray Davies, he is ridiculously underated, and credit is due there.
But of all time I'd probbably say Mick Jagger.

The Reincarnation Of Hendrix 11-19-2004 05:35 PM

Obvious Choices: Robert Plant (definatley number one, he is just awesome)
Kurt Cobain (he drove that band)
Johnny Rotten (he had the right attitude)
Jimi Hendrix
Bob Marley

Not So Obvious Choices from more recent times: Jack White (Live, he is amazing)
Tim DeLaughter (from the Polyphonic Spree, he has so much energy and makes everyone in the audience feel a part of the band)

and how could i forget Joe Strummer form the Clash!! He is a legend and one of my favourite performers

Interstate 11-19-2004 05:58 PM

hmm...just thinking about it quickly i'd say either Mick Jagger or Freddy Mercury.

LightsOut6794 11-19-2004 06:18 PM
Alot of the post Nirvana artists only focused on writing lyrics and forgot about the compostition (Nirvana included), which in the end, didn't turn out to be the best idea: "I'm so horny, that's ok my willy's good". Yes, absolutely groundbreaking lyrics......er I think not.
Just had to jump in here and say that the lyrics are not "that's ok my willy's good", they are "that's ok my WILL IS good." Guess we can see where your mind is...cough cough...but anyway, best frontmen would have to be Robert Plant, Jim Morisson, Kurt Cobain, and Axl Rose (even though he's a jerk).

kurt98 11-19-2004 08:19 PM

Plant, And Ozzy. nothing more needed to say

FFbassist26 11-19-2004 08:26 PM

themoor666 11-19-2004 08:36 PM

I dunno if any of you said this already or if anyone knows a band called Moonspell, but I saw them last Feb. with Opeth and Fernando Ribero, the singer was a ****ing amazing frontman... he did have this cheesey staff during part but other than that he was really really ****ing cool up there
