Don't know if this belongs here, but can someone help me out with starting out on soulseek? I've forwarded my port, etc. and I can get into chatrooms and stuff but when I search for music the screen just stays blank. Am I really that dumb?

The Great Decay 11-19-2005 04:41 PM

This happens when you don't have the same version of soulseek as everyone else. Go to the website and download v.156c.

Electrocution 11-19-2005 07:40 PM

My slsk name is I Am Electrocution. I have a good chunk of my music on the computer, but I think people have problems browsing my files. I've been banned a couple times because people think I'm not sharing.

Happymeal 11-19-2005 08:51 PM

I think people ban me due to my files being untidy.

JonM 11-19-2005 08:58 PM

Out of the 14,187 songs you can get from me, you can get the K'naan album, which you MUST do.
