Rancid Dan 03-14-2005 03:18 PM

El_Shiznit 03-14-2005 03:18 PM

All of 'From Here To Infirmary' is genious.

Rancid Dan 03-14-2005 03:22 PM

It's the only album of their's i have, do you think it's their best ?

El_Shiznit 03-14-2005 03:28 PM

Yeah, I do, but 'Maybe I'll Catch Fire' and 'Good Mourning' are close competitors for that spot.

Pazz 03-14-2005 03:28 PM

benbenben 03-14-2005 03:29 PM

El_Shiznit 03-15-2005 01:43 PM
From Here to Infirmary or Goddammit are my favourite Albums, followed by Good Mourning and S/T, then maybe I'll catch fire
The order for me goes as follows:

From Here To Infirmary
Maybe I'll Catch Fire
Good Mourning
S/T
Goddam'nit

simplephotographinthesun 03-15-2005 01:46 PM

El_Shiznit 03-15-2005 01:46 PM

Oz Rembrandt 03-15-2005 02:39 PM

Let's Chop Cats! 03-15-2005 03:15 PM
i simply can't wait for church and destroy
I thought they changed the name.

poprocks&coke 03-15-2005 03:29 PM

really?

to what?

chumpradio 03-15-2005 03:29 PM
I thought they changed the name.
Yes, the current most rumoured name is Crimson. From a riddle on their official forums that Derek, their drummer, made.

alk3rules 03-15-2005 07:07 PM

i like the name crimson better than church and destroy simply because i dont like those pun things that bands make up

coolidgeALL 03-15-2005 07:08 PM

there were good live in 02'

Let's Chop Cats! 03-15-2005 09:05 PM

Ok I'm getting a copy of this tomorrow. So far I've heard it's different, but not neccessarily bad. I shall give a quick over view once I hear it.

Oz Rembrandt 03-16-2005 04:52 AM

Let's Chop Cats! 03-16-2005 02:40 PM

I found this link to it, Not how I got it but should work for now.
http://www.lowestofhighs.com/cds/Alkaline_Trio-Crimson-(Webrip_Advance)-2005-GCA/

So far (I'm on track 5) it is kind of boring and like a generic A3 song. A few songs sound a bit different. Nothing has stood out yet.

chumpradio 03-16-2005 02:48 PM

I've got tracks 1 and 2 off Kif. I like it so far, it's different, but track 2 is a great song, seems like it could be a single for Dan.

Let's Chop Cats! 03-16-2005 02:54 PM

Only a few more tracks left. I'm disapointed, could have been better. I'm sure you folks who like repetitive generic stuff will love this.

El_Shiznit 03-16-2005 02:56 PM

:upset:

simplephotographinthesun 03-16-2005 03:07 PM

this really does sound different from the normal alkaline trio im accustomed to, although sadie brings it all back

alk3rules 03-16-2005 03:28 PM

the website has reached its bandwith limit. if you have bittorrent, could you upload it and post it?
