Wish - one of my friends from my home town runs the nights at 54 in Shoreditch now, and hes bringing 'Duboro,' the local dubstep night there December 17th, Stenchman. Can get us in for free if you fancy it.

Arucard 11-26-2009 10:24 AM
whats the difference?
2-step is usually referred to as "old school garage" now, if i'm not mistaken, because nobody really makes it anymore.

modern garage usually falls under dubstep or grime. less r&b, funk and soul influences.

ATM 11-29-2009 08:51 AM

Listen to this track and let me know what you guys think:

It's a local artist rapping over dubstep. I just booked him to play a show next weekend.

Got around falling asleep to One Of Us high the other day and it is pretty intense stuff. The second drop in "Six Degrees" was way too much.
Sucha good track.

Picked up the Paul Blake Untold remix on 10". So good.

2muchket! 12-11-2009 03:12 PM

Anyone know any decent programs that'd be good for making dubstep with ? Got some ideas for a few remixes that I've had for ages.

Arucard 12-13-2009 07:09 PM

Ableton is good, thats what i use to produce, but i've never tried dubstep. I only produce minimal/prog house and garage thus far.

Txus 12-13-2009 08:59 PM

Stenchman rules so ****ing much
