So, I'll be driving in 8 months. I got my permit today

I've promised myself that I'm not going to buy a car untill I find either
a) A cheap Jetta
b) Something that is already "pimped", meaning nice rims, nice paint and a sound system.

I'd much rather like to spend the extra money on buyign something thats already really nice rather then spending the money myself.

Heh, either way I'm getting a loan.
So Spiffy, how was the RHCP concert? Just curious, since that'll be me in two nights.
It was pretty good. They played for about 2 hours and were very tight. They had a few jams throughout the night, some pretty good sounding stuff. Flea had some lame distortion-filled guitar-like bass solo at one point... whatever. I love John Frusciante because he's just amazing. Will Ferrell did a good job on the drums, he even had a little solo. During it, Frusciante started playing with him, they played a little medley, which included Smells Like Teen Spirit. And I see what's meant by Kiedis not having the best voice live, not that it's all that bad, but he is off at times.

Anyway, prepare yourself for an awesome stage show. It was ridiculous, but I won't spoil it for you. It was pretty huge, though.

I drive a '95 Ford Windstar.

It's "pimped". Got a tape deck in it, some seats taken out, and stylish body modifications (read "dents").

Spaceman Spiff 09-26-2006 08:10 PM

Okay, so I'm listening to some live Mars Volta stuff, Cedric really isn't very good live, which is really too bad. He totally owns in studio.

My car looks less cool every year.

Moon Flavor 09-26-2006 08:29 PM

Hey everyone.

Stop posting cars, they suck.

User Name 09-26-2006 08:30 PM

Buick Riviera?

The Brad 09-26-2006 08:30 PM

I am sorry, call me Picabia, but I love industry and machinery.

PS, don't feel bad about your car. My first ride was a '93 Buick Le Sabre 90th anniversary edition.

Jimbobntnr 09-26-2006 08:32 PM

yeah. This guy has 170k on it now. There is nothing in my price range on the market now that I like. And it's my 4th car.

The Brad 09-26-2006 08:32 PM

Yaris and Fit. Woof. ;)

Sometimes I want to play guitar, only because a certain few guitarists make it so appealing with how good they are.

User Name 09-26-2006 08:36 PM

Who do you have in mind, spiff?

Spaceman Spiff 09-26-2006 08:39 PM

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Tom Morello, John Frusciante. Those are the three on my mind right now.

Efrim 09-26-2006 08:39 PM

Well, House was good. I laughed.
Now, I'm hungry.
