im currently refinishing this now since this had a lousy finish. Also had it reshaped. POst it as soon as im done.

Not a big fan of the Black design on the body...kinda corny. What you refinishing it to?

Anyways, yeah the maple for the marked frets and purpleheart for the rest did work out awesome. That's a cool bass too because of the Bart pickup plus piezo in the bridge. About the cost, they're all different but usually a bit under 2k.

I'm going to add a P pickup, a black bridge (and some black tuners if I can find them cheap), a new nut, golden knobs and a black pickguard. I'll keep the one with the stripes ofcourse.

simply cut off an action figures head, take a drill and drill out a hole so that the head will fit on the shaft of your pot. yeah i made that

i am currently saving up for emgs and such... the stock pickups are crap and i dont need a guitar... so until i can get sum money it remains unfinished

I think you scalloped your fretboard a little deep man.

The scalloping looks fine

I don't think you can really scallop too deep unless you see the neck through the wood.

There we go. The best part about that picture is some poor guy actually asked is he filed too much.

You can even see the maple neck showing thru the fretboard. That picture will never get old.
