Can anyone play guitar for Bad Religion - **** Armageddon... This is Hell!?
I could learn.

Jersey's Best Dancer 02-18-2006 10:13 AM

Well I have the drums posted on the page before this, so I need _JR to do bass, or someone to do guitar.

ill get started on it, but im gonna be gone all today and a lot of tomorrow.
i listened to the drums and they sounded great. i have 2 questions actually.
1) did you play to the same tempo as the origional song?

2)how long of a pause is there in the beginning before i come in, unless you started recording right as the song started, but i dont think you did. so what im asking i guess is when should i come in?

1) I think for the most part I played the same speed, but it might be a little sped up. I played with the song while I didn't so it shouldn't b too far off. Just follow me, not the song.

2) I just left a lot of time before cause I'm not sure. I think it's 4 measures before I start playing on the ride.

comptonassrobert 02-18-2006 03:33 PM

Hey Flogging Murphy can you do the drums for Keasbey Nights too?

Jersey's Best Dancer 02-18-2006 04:18 PM

Well there's no tab for it and I suck at tabing so it would take me a while to finally get it all done. So, having someone else do it might be a better idea.

KingOfSka drums, he could probably do it.

Jersey's Best Dancer 02-18-2006 04:24 PM

Would anyone be able to do guitar and vocals for a psychobilly song? I was gonna see if there is 1) an upright bass player in the bass forum or here and 2) if he/she could record a song. It would be like Tiger Army or Nekromantix or something like that, that other ppl would know.

YoungSavage77 02-19-2006 01:45 PM

I could play drums for a psychobilly song.. I'd love to do Mad Sin - "All This And More"
Or any Cramps song. :)
No Tiger Army though.

comptonassrobert 02-19-2006 02:59 PM

Jersey's Best Dancer 02-19-2006 09:26 PM

lobsterjohnson 02-19-2006 09:51 PM

how do i go about recording over that

Jersey's Best Dancer 02-19-2006 09:54 PM

There are probably free progams out there that you could download where u upload the song, then record your instrument while the drum track is playing. I have cakewalk, but I wouldn't expect anyone to go out and just buy it.

Liebensaft 02-19-2006 09:54 PM

Download the program Audacity if you don't have it. You can record your track on there, and then I think get both of them to play together. I'm not sure what you have to do, but I know you can do it with Audacity.

lobsterjohnson 02-19-2006 10:57 PM
i already have audacity

you record the first part, then stop it when you are done, then record over it the same way you recorded the first part

lobsterjohnson 02-20-2006 11:02 PM

im still not sure how to combine to seperate recordings but ill figure it out
cause i dont want to record directly onto your drum track cause then i wont be able to hear it while i play
could i possibly send you my track and have you put them toghether since you have better software

_JR 02-21-2006 06:16 AM
