feel free to express those opinions in the thread, but gee sid, weren't you the one berating us for not letting you disagree (whether or not that was actually what we were doing)? how is this any different? i expect better from you, nick, whatever you want to contribute (or not) to the discussion, you shouldn't act high-and-mighty and close the thread because you disagree with some of the people posting in it. or at least address this concern with more than childish insults or "burns." that's not what the problems/suggestions thread is for, you should know that.

plenty of people like me, and plenty of people think closing that threat was stupid. and even if those two things are true, they are irrelevant, at best. if you don't want to entertain any notion that you are actually going to moderate capably or address legitimate concerns about your unnecessary closing of threads, i can't stop you. i just assumed i should address my complaint to you in this official problems/suggestions thread, in order to receive an adequate, serious, on-topic response. feel free to continue to ignore the actual merits of my complaint on some irrelevant, inflammatory basis.

I agree with Cheeser. It's true he complains about everything but this time he had a point. Not that you couldn't close the thread Nick but I don't think it was doing a bad thing.

on this screen on the left hand side in bold it says 'total number of posts'.

Under this it says 'view all posts by....' and 'view all threads by...'.
