I'd never have known it WASN'T meant to Anal Right Start if I hadn't read that.

either her majesty by The Decemberists, funeral by The Arcade Fire, in case we die by Archistecture In Helsinki, the coast is never clear by beulah, or turn on the bright lights by Interpol

Be a toss up between Showbiz - Muse and The Bends- Radiohead

Eoghan 10-18-2005 10:07 AM

I can't coose between Beatles - Revolver or Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, so I'll say the Blue Album.

ssteiling 10-18-2005 12:00 PM

Nick Drake – Pink Moon

(XO and Grace are always pushing to get that top spot, but so far... no dice.)
It's not alternative or indie. It's The Who's Quadrophenia. Which is just as well. :smash:
Congrats on your stars :)

This was tough, but I'm gonna have to go with the Red Hot Chili Pepper's BloodSugarSexMagik.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

It was that or OK Computer, but WYWH just owns it.

Opeth's Still Life is also fairly high on the list.

It changes often, but right now it would have to be "The Final Cut" Roger Waters/Pink Floyd.

guitarded_chuck 10-18-2005 07:25 PM

Weezer Blue baby. I'm going to listen to that tonight as a matter of fact.
Pink Floyd - Meddle, as well. Couldn't choose one or the other.

So many runner ups though. Right now my current favorite is Slint - Spiderland.

RollerQueen 10-18-2005 07:43 PM

I changed my mind.

Good Charlotte - Good Charlotte

That one better speaks to me as an artist.

With profound lyrics like those found on this album, it would speak to anyone.

Deth 10-18-2005 07:57 PM

Opeth - Still Life

Tough choice.

I'll Take The Veil 10-18-2005 07:59 PM

Animals- Pink Floyd

I win.

While that is a great debut, I believe The Chronicles of Life and Death is far superior.

Seriously.

"22 days before Halloween. How did I know she'd be my evil queen?" "Captivate me. I want good thoughts inside of my head." "The little things, litttle things; they just won't go away. The little things, little things, made me who I am today." "I don't want you. I heard you say you're not good enough for me."

If those quotes don't make you feel like you're dancing with Jesus, nothing will.

No way, man. That album rips off of Jay-Z AND Chris Rock. Their debut is so much more original, emotional, emo, and tional.

bah, moondance pwns so hard too. I guess It's my favorite album too.

RollerQueen 10-18-2005 08:42 PM

I have nothing on Good Charlotte. moz, PixiesFanYo, Metaliq, Subtle, A Perfect Sonnet, and others will attest to that. I only hope that I can be as good as they are.
