Salute your shorts was a show about this summer camp (maybe not summer, but definitely a camp). The camp was called Camp Anawanna. It had loveable characters like token fat kid Donkey Lips, random prankster Budnick, and the nerdy Sponge, although there were many others. The main antagonist/villain of the show was the moderately totalitarian camp counselor, Ug. Yes, his name was Ug. It had a pretty memorable theme song from the perspective of a 6 year old, too:

It makes us wanna fart!

I remember one episode was about how Doug's Dad was in a band (or maybe just had an LP of a band) called The Psychadelic Fuzz. I thought that was cool cause' I always liked the Psychadelic Furs.
