I've got a PS2 but only because my sister won it in this competition. I know I won't be getting a PS3 unless the same thing happens again. Playstation is over rated anyway. Sega FTW.

Screw that. I think the Playstation is the greatest console to date. Great games, a poop load of games, just a good overall system.

Yeah. I'm just gonna completely contradict myself and say the things they do with video games these days is amazing. I'd love a PS3 but I have better things to spend or not spend $600 on.

I used to be an avid PS gamer, but now I've been converted to Xbox. I'm considering getting a Wii just because of what it will be like, but I'm not sure yet.

I finished school early today, and this place is dead. Might upload a few albums for the peeps

I'm wanting a PS3 for RE5, FF, and MGS4. The price tag is pretty ow though.

I can't wait for the Wii though. It looks like it's going to be so much fun.

By the way, I'll be gone till Friday or so.

The Wii is going to be a blast. I curse EGM magazine for being so hard on it. Giving it a B+ on their stupid grading scale. They gave the DS an A, the Wii should've gotten an A+. :mad:

Wii has a nice gimick.

As always with Nintendo gimicks, it wont be implemented well, and it wont set them apart from other systems as much as they want it to.

The only draw that the Wii has is the price, which is less than most current-gen systems were at launch. This also limits the games significantly though. The games wont have any more processing power or graphics than things they've already done.

You're pay 250 for a different control system that they wont use well.

Yeah, but at least developers are happy over the relatively low development cost for Wii games. At least Nintendo promises more third-party support this time around.


Of course, they did that with the N64 and the 'Cube, too.

Any controller that needs a manual to tell you how to hold it is aweful, and the only good games that system had was Zelda.

I thought the graphics looked awesome, and I'm looking forward to the new controls. I'm tired of button mashers.

Plus I don't see any games on PS3 or Xbox 360 that interest me in the least, besides Halo 3.

I also hate how everyone puts N64 down and people claim that it was the biggest flop in videogame history, because that is a downright lie. People always rant about how PS had way better graphics and games, and it is all lies. Just because the N64 used cartridges and a rather big controller. None of that bothered me, they had quality games and very good graphics for something run off a friggin' CARTRIDGE.

Exactly, it's different and you never know that kind of controller could become normal for the future of controls.

And, nintendo have made gaming what it is today, they invented the analogue stick, shoulder buttons, rumble feature etc

The Nintendo 64 failed more because it cost more to make games. PS games could sell for £30 new and £20 platinum, which lowered as time went down. Nintendo 64 games sold for £60 new and that only lowered to about £40. Nintendo just didn't have the money and the supply of good games to compete with the PS.

I love my 360. I still need to complete like 2 of my games, and trade in PGR3 and DOA4.

I've just never liked Playstation games for some reason. Anytime I go to my uncle's and play his Playstation, I just get really bored. Plus the controller is so damn small!!!
