they were considered the "popular" girls. I would assume most of them thought it to be interesting, but i was a trouble maker, and those coversations are just no fun

they werent sluts. If they were sluts, id be intrigued. Not as in "wow, i wanna have dirty sex with you" but more of a "wow, you actually did that :amaze: "
Yeah, I agree, sluts are intrigueing, not "sexy." In most cases slutty girls are really insecure.

Sluts are fun.

i am the robots 02-08-2006 12:31 PM

Eggo you spend too much time trying to sound smart :). A debate between yourself, Alex, and Kurptsenate (who's rl name escapes me atm) is gonna be full of intrigue.
Sluts are fun.
Very good .

really i'm just telling people the truth

i don't see how i'm trying to sound smart

ATM 02-08-2006 12:32 PM

That's the only thing I had to contribute.

Amit 02-08-2006 12:34 PM

no, girls aren't boring you just gotta stop hanging out with boring ones

Josh 02-08-2006 12:34 PM
popular girls are usually boring
hmm, dunno about that, seeing as i've never been out with a popular girl.

'sup guys? i just deleted ALL the music off my laptop, seeing as it's been slowing down a lot, so i just freed up 8.5gb, i still have it all on my mp3 player, which i can use through my laptop, the only down side is i can't use last.fm anymore, but that's hardly a problem.

yeah i thought you were being sarcastic but i can't be sure anymore these days

kurrpt 02-08-2006 12:38 PM

hes just contradictory

ATM 02-08-2006 12:40 PM

Girls that are considered popular are usually horribly boring. I'd agree with that.

i am the robots 02-08-2006 12:41 PM
hes just contradictory
How am I contradictory? I normally keep to the same views birtch.

kurrpt 02-08-2006 12:43 PM

it really depends. Some guys are metro, and into the "girl" thing. Other guys could care less wtf they think, and just tell them to open their legs.

Its a different perspective. Its interesting at first, but for me, the topic of conversation just doesnt interest me, for the most part

edit: that was directed at eggo bro

i am the robots 02-08-2006 12:45 PM

I have yet to add my imput I realize :(.

Girls as a whole are not boring, however in general they suck, same goes for guys, it's part of humanity. I am friends with a lot of girls and friends with a lot of guys, I've had deeper conversations with more girls than guys to be seriousness.

Amit 02-08-2006 12:47 PM

Here's that classical guitarist I was talking about:

http://media.putfile.com/09---the_hut_of_babayaga

Remember, it's just ONE guitar! :-D

His achievements and performances were considered so impossible and incredible, that most people thought he was faking it :-O

eh, i dont know if I'd go THAT far. True most people are selfish and egocentric, but to say everyone sucks would really say very little for me.

I learned a long time ago that no one cares about what my passions are, or whatever. That being said, the converse is usually true. That being said, its understandable WHY you might think "everyone sucks". I emplore you to try to relate to these people more, and your idea my change

Steerpike 02-08-2006 12:50 PM

Everyone has to find that out eventually.

"Did you see Friends last night?"
"I don't watch that show."
"Well, anyway there's this part where Joey-"
"I don't watch that show."
"And then Phoebe got really mad at-"
"I said I don't watch that show! I don't care!"
"But of course they were too embarassed to tell each other."
"What will it take to shut you up?! Do I have to stab myself in the face with a fork?!"

The sad thing is, this is based on a real conversation and I'm not taking much creative license.

kurrpt 02-08-2006 12:52 PM

you need to understand that girls talk about 170% time MORE then guys...

i understand they run out of "interesting" topics

yeah but who is to say your conversations would be any less boring

"Did you see that <obscure band> concert last night?"
"I don't listen to them."
"Well, anyway there's this part where the bass goes into a solo-"
"I don't listen to them."
"And then the vocalist gets really mad at-"
"I said I don't listen to them! I don't care!"
"But of course they were too embarassed to have a drum solo."
"What will it take to shut you up!? Do I have to stab myself in the face with a fork?!"

just being the devil's advocate

of course :thumb:

but i ask you. Which is worse? Feigning interest, or saying flat out IM NOT INTERESTED

my dad does the latter. Kinda disheartening

The thing is, I don't talk like that. The instant I see that someone has absolutely no interest in broadening their horizons a bit, I end the topic right there. And I'm also able to see that someone who listens to My Chemical Romance and Coldplay probably wouldn't be all that receptive to Death, Savatage, Dillenger Escape Plan, and Sabaton.

I just wished others were able to see the same with me. I don't go around pushing my bands on others, so I really wish they'd stop pushing their TV shows on me. Hell, I don't even watch much TV aside from a couple shows on Comedy Central and Food Network.

I'm usually just blunt and honest. I'd rather not perform the converational equivalent of faking an orgasm.

kurrpt 02-08-2006 01:14 PM

i create my own conversational orgasms by recognizing its not the best topic of conversation, and paint it in an interesting light.

ATM 02-08-2006 01:24 PM

I stare blankly at whoever is talking if they are boring.

I have a foolproof way of getting out of that:
'I don't have a tv, so no I didn't see it.' (no joking by the way)
That always works.

That's one way of doing it, I guess.

I'll have to remember that.
