Bah, I knew it had an E and a W in it though. :-/ I was just using the Bush thing as an example, too. See, I don't watch enough TV.

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:29 PM

He wouldn't have made an awesome candidate because he would have gotten killed in the election...he actually had the least amount of credibility of all the candidates out there. But out of everything said during the primaries and the presidential election, his thoughts on gay marriage ("It's not about who you climb into bed with at night, but whether you have a job to go to in the morning" is what he said exactly) might have been the smartest thing said.

Steerpike 07-09-2005 08:29 PM

You know what's annoying? I take a big risk in violating the stricter rules around here by bumping my old Savatage thread with news about the band (specifically Jon Oliva's nomination for a lifetime achievement award) and people are more concerned with talking about rock stars doing stupid things.

Cain 07-09-2005 08:29 PM
I liked Al Sharpton so much! He was awesome and would've made such a great Democratic candidate. He was so outspoken about what he believed it, and had a great sense of humor. I loved watching him on TV.
That's what made me like him. He said what needed to be said at that point.

 They're doing that on your thread? (lifetime achievement award; that's pretty sweet!)

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:35 PM
*sigh* If only the hair...
troo, Sharpton has dreamy hair.

Sharpton was good for TV but would not have made a very good president. He was like Ross Perot in 1992: A funny little diversion who shook up the other candidates.

/my mom actually voted for Perot in 1992

No, they're ignoring mine completely in favor of either the Stupid Rockstar Tricks or whatever the hell it's called thread, or the GNR thread about Axl's inability to put out an album.

Is your mom voting for Perot a good thing or a bad thing?

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:39 PM
Is your mom voting for Perot a good thing or a bad thing?
I'm honestly not sure.

Then again, since Perot helped Clinton win (and, most importantly, helped George H.W. lose) I guess it was good.

YDload 07-09-2005 08:39 PM

I'm sorry, but the coolest female on the site will always be Human_Atomb_Bomb. Or maybe myiaa.

Well, it's definitely not Spikey, that's for sure.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-09-2005 08:41 PM

My vote is for 307. :naughty:

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:41 PM

At any rate, myiaa is at least the most attractive female MXer.

Definately. I hate it how when anything is wrong with the US, American Conservatives always find some way to put the blame on Clinton. I'm not saying he was flawless, I'm just saying that he did a lot of good things for the country. Things that we realize more now, that Bush has torn it apart.
My vote is for 307. :naughty:
Who is that? How many girls are there on the board?

I'm not that big on Clinton, but I'll do anything to keep a Bush out of the White House.

Clinton didn't do many great things...he didn't do many bad things, but he didn't do many great things either...he was a good political magician.

Hottest Female: Sab Like Woah (Where is she anyway?)

Female on MX Most Likely to Acquire Every STD: Spikey.

Thor 07-09-2005 08:47 PM

I have yet to see a picture of any of these people. Can someone post them?

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:47 PM
Yeah, but you can't say he didn't help this country.
I don't think he helped it or hurt it enough to really notice, I think. He got a little lucky and did a good job keeping most of the country on his side.
I have yet to see a picture of any of these people. Can someone post them?
myiaa's latest pic is pretty lousy.

and Spikey is indeed a filthy ho

What's happening in here?

NP: Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed

Illmatic 07-09-2005 08:48 PM

We're talking about Bill Clinton and female MXers, for the most part.

The most important thing is keeping Clinton away from female MXers
I have yet to see a picture of any of these people. Can someone post them?
Yeah, I'm wondering too.
I went into the pictures thread in the pit, hoping that someone interesting posted their pictures in there, but nothing. So far, I've only seen Ollie and Alex.

I have no genitals. I'm neither man, nor woman.

I only hold hands with girls though.

No. Well, the mxphotoalbum is there for most of them, but in general a lot of the more attractive ladies left for other forums. But everytime someone posts a link to that forum, they get a lot of drama from others who were banned or just plain hate that other forum. It's not worth it (actually it is because sometimes the women of that forum pose in skimpy clothing but it's too bad for you :p)

Hey TMS, remember my little bit of whining on the last page about people ignoring Savatage? I think my point has been proven.

It seems Savatage is to most R&Mers what the word "it" is to the Knight of Nee.

Yeah, it's just like old times.

Also, because Roy Halladay went down with an injury, Matt Clement is going to the All Star Game in his place. That's five Red Sox on the AL All Star Team

Peace, TMS.

I thought you just spotted the thread title.

It just kind of annoys me. I spent over an hour typing up that thread's first post and trying to put as much info into it as possible, trying to keep it alive, and the majority of R&Mers are more concerned with talking about the most inane shit imaginable than learning about one of the most tragically underrated bands of all time.
