i just log on and random people add me

Dr. Jake Destructo 02-07-2006 11:30 PM

Yeah, those are the people I deny. :)

Actually, I read their profile, and if it's some random wierdo from somewhere like Indiana, then i deny them.
Sorry but I have to disagree. Dredg needs a few more albums under their belt and what albums do you make your assesment on anyway?
I'll have to been skeptical of that.

You made Into Eternity sound like the best thing since sliced bread. I honestly prefer sliced bread.

EDIT: The vocals on Imaginery Direction of Time have improved from the vocals on The Reflections of I

What's with all the adultfriendfinder.com advertisements? I thought this site was family-friendly!

Well, I had a mediocre night, as far as they go. Blues Ensemble rehearsal was unusually terrible today, and I'm just so tired. How is everyone else doing?

The only plus today was that I had a ton of time to listen to a lot of cool music.

I hate how the only ensemble my school has is choir, But it helps with my voice and the choir credits I need to get anyways.
None of those four guys are funny

Dave Attel's standup is pretty good but Insomniac was much better

fave comics: Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Lewis Black

also, Tucker Max is the man
I have Killin Em Softly and For What It's Worth on DVD and both are absolutely hysterical. I think Dave's stand-up is way funnier than Chappelle's Show.

I have to admit I'm addicted to the "Punch out Osama!" one, not because it's Osama but because for some reason its fun to knock the crap out of someone in that ad :-\

I wouldnt go that far but yeah his standup is fantastic.

You know the extra stand up stuff he does like during commercials on the Chappelle's Show season 2 dvd? I found that funnier than a lot of the skits!

My favorite popup is the one where you have to kick this bean into a pot, there are two mice blocking the can, it's a very tricky task, I've had hours of experience though. ;)

Sounds like fun. I don't get them here. I do however get them on MySongBook and I think they're terrible adverts, I almost got tricked into downloading something because it came up in a windows alert that looked real.

Yeah I get those all the time. It's so annoying when you close them and then they go to some stupid site anyway.

I frigin' hate pop-ups.

Nostalgia 02-08-2006 02:07 AM

For some reason my comp attracts P0rn pop-ups for some reason, I think it's because of the sites I go to watch funny videos.

I hate it when it happens! I even got a dialer last summer when I was still on 56k :( At least, mysongbook is still up.

damn Sam!

this myspace crap IS good for something. Just got a msg from an OLD friend that moved to Michigan about 6 years ago. I got a random message today. I havent checked mine since i think the site is crap, but this was a pleasant surprise.

Im about 2 days away from getting this TiVo ripped onto my computer
i just log on and random people add me
I always thought that was kind of weird. I seldom add anyone I've never met in person, and when I do we've usually corresponded through e-mail.

The creepiest thing is I get messages from these women half-way across the country who want to fuck me. At first I thought they were just adverts for p0rn, so I checked the profiles and realized "Tap-dancing Christ, these people are real." I wouldn't take any of them up on the offer, though. I don't know where the hell they've been. /shudder
Sounds like fun. I don't get them here. I do however get them on MySongBook and I think they're terrible adverts, I almost got tricked into downloading something because it came up in a windows alert that looked real.
I feel for that once. The second time it happened, I noticed the browser head at the top.
Yeah I get those all the time. It's so annoying when you close them and then they go to some stupid site anyway.

The wankers who came out with those need to be skinned alive with potato peelers.

Likewise.

Why do women always insist on travelling in packs?

Remember a week ago I mentioned that girl who got caught in the splash from a drink spill? I usually see her around at lunch, but she's always with a group of friends and pretty engrossed in conversation, which makes it a little difficult to ask her out. I'm okay with talking to people one-on-one, but when you have a whole table of them staring at you...

(sigh) I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and give it a shot next time I see her or I never will.

ever watch a beautiful mind? He kinda explains it in that.

Best thing to do, like you said, is to think less, and act more. If walk up to her like king sh!t, and impress her friends, you are a shoe-in

Steerpike 02-08-2006 11:55 AM

I make it a point to avoid most Russel Crowe movies. Something about that guy just makes me feel violent.

Anyway, I'm starting to understand that in matters like this, logic isn't as useful as one might imagine. Fortunately, I was always more for creativity than logic anyway.

yea man. Females work on emotion, and rarely LOGIC as you or I would believe.

The problem with US, is that we over-analyze and get psyched out before we even try.

edit: i also hate russel crowe

I've known for some time that they work more on emotion, but I thought I could still use logic. As a matter of fact, it wasn't until my senior year in high school when I stopped trying to use logic in most areas of my life when I had the epiphany, "Wait a minute... I'm not even that good with pure logic, what the hell am I doing?"

At least I've learned to stop bitching and beating myself up over it. There used to be a time where I would be incredibly hard on myself for an entire week because I never asked a girl out. And one time when I did try and she shot me down, I was kicking myself all that day and the day after.

EDIT: Man there were a lot of repeats and typoes in there.

Amit 02-08-2006 12:11 PM

blah blah if you hang out with tons of girls you'll realize there's not much to them

anyway kazuhito yamashita is the most incredible musician i have ever heard in my life i need to upload some tracks

kurrpt 02-08-2006 12:14 PM

yea, i hung out at the "girl's table" during my senior. My friends and i collectively decided their conversations are boring and repetitive, so we took charge.

Hahaha, myself and a few friends did that before we discovered the wonders of eating lunch in the library. The library is chill.
you hung out with boring girls

they were considered the "popular" girls. I would assume most of them thought it to be interesting, but i was a trouble maker, and those coversations are just no fun

they werent sluts. If they were sluts, id be intrigued. Not as in "wow, i wanna have dirty sex with you" but more of a "wow, you actually did that :amaze: "

Steerpike 02-08-2006 12:27 PM
then how come you're single
Because, to be perfectly honest, I spent the majority of my life as a self-imposed pariah with a whole grab bag on mental problems. So when I finally stopped being all emo in high school, I've been ever since playing catch up on 17 years of social skills and tact that I never developed.
