Di’Anno has even found time to pen his first full sized book, an autobiography entitled The Beast which is a no holds barred journey through his turbulent and often disturbing lifestyle throughout the last two decades.

On The Living Dead, Di’anno delivers a powerful vocal performance over classic metal bombast, a long-overdue comeback that will surely please old school metal fans alike.

The title track 'the living dead' can be viewed off of youtube. Its alright, nothing like maiden though.

Quiksilver26 10-02-2006 04:36 PM

Such a dead thread lately.. =\
Anyway, the NA tour kicks off in a couple of days, I'm sure there are users who are going to it, I seriously can't wait. It's like 14 days or something until they come here, I don't think I was even this excited before the first time I saw them :).

pate 10-02-2006 04:37 PM

I would, but nobody will go with me, and I don't want to make the 4 hour trip alone. :/

Quiksilver26 10-02-2006 04:42 PM

=\ Yeah that would suck.. Most of my friends say they like Maiden.. wouldn't ever actually come see them though.

MrConeman 10-02-2006 05:06 PM

I'd love to see a tracklist of their current set for current tours up here soon, So I can brush up on all the songs before I go see them, there's quite a bit of Maiden I've been neglecting of late.

Yeah, to the like 3 cities they are playing for their NA "tour".
It saddens me that maiden really dont give a crap about touring the US and Cananda. And the fact that AMOLAD has totally surpased BNW and DoD in sales makes it even worse.

:bitter:

Josh 10-03-2006 04:01 AM

hehe
/seeing maiden in....
/counts days....
75 days i think lol.
:p

i'm hoping that the songs on AMOLAD come out better live, i think they will.

ghettoeddo 10-03-2006 09:10 AM

agh i cant make ANY of the showssssss

Lord Abortion 10-03-2006 10:34 AM

Hey folks, I wanna see the new setlist...

LegionsofMarduk 10-03-2006 10:49 AM

2 weeks from the very moment I'll be leaving work early. Go get a friend, get a case of beer and start heading to Detroit. Get to Detroit, park the car, drink said case of beer while waiting to get inside. Get inside and try to ignore crappy opening act and their emo-fag fans. Said crappy band goes off stage and Iron Maiden will play. And it will be good.

lucky.

Anyway, i just bought myself the 'raising hell' dvd for 1 dollar. Yeah for -the frank!
The show wasnt very good to be honest, davey was extremely energetic though which suprised me.
The magic tricks were really lame to.
But i have now seen it and all you have not! Yeah for me.

EDIT: RMOTM is up, shall we do the maiden tradition where we nominate everyone who posts in this thread?

pate 10-03-2006 11:43 AM

Haha. Yes.

Good stuff.

Out of the shadows has really grown on me. I really love how Bruce sings the verses.

pate 10-04-2006 10:42 PM

It's really good. My favorites are still TROBB, BTATS, These Colours Don't Run, The Longest Day, and FTGGOG.

-The Frank 10-04-2006 11:47 PM

I find TROBB is one of the weaker tracks on the album. Extremely fun to play though.
The legacy still hasnt caught my attention yet. But i have defiantely warmed up to lord of light though

pate 10-04-2006 11:48 PM

I hated TROBB when it was released as a single, but love it within the context of the album.
