It's because I don't know jack shit about cars. Every time the Auto Show comes to Detroit or the Dream Cruise comes, I really couldn't care less about 'em, yet it plagues the newstations the entire time it's here. The only thing I care about is that I have gas in my car, air in my tires, oil changes, and the like. I really don't care about what the next Hummer or Mustang or Pinto is going to look like, and I really don't care what a 1964 Thunderbird's engine looked like. Some people love talking about it, I just couldn't care less, heh.

Shattered_Future 02-07-2006 08:06 PM

I can't stand McDonald's milkshakes. For one, they never bother to clean the damn nozzle, so if you order a chocolate one, 9 times out of 10 you'll find strawberry bits in it.

I want a car that takes me from Point A to Point B with the least amount of money needed. Period.

Although a Ferrari would be nice...:D

ghettoeddo 02-07-2006 08:07 PM

The "lesbian situation."

Yes! I'm friggin' estatic... now it comes to gathering up the courage to ask her out...

Easily the worst of the four Blue Collar guys. Which doesn't say much, but I can find the other three guys funny if I really, really, really, REALLY try hard.
Unless Jeff Foxworthy is part of the Blue Collar thing. Because he's just un-fu'cking-funny.

One can only take so many "Yew no yer ah redneck whan" jokes before it gets severely annoying.

Now Mitch Hedberg, that's comedy.

Jacaranda 02-07-2006 09:52 PM

Blue Collar is horrible... Ron White is so not funny he came to Montana and was like "All you cowboys blah blah ride whores and horses, right? Right?!". And of course every frickin' hick in the theater thought that was the funniest damn thing they've heard.

Kingofdudes 02-07-2006 09:56 PM

Now Kirk Hammett, that's comedy.

Moses 02-07-2006 10:21 PM

Hey everyone, you should check out Pain of Salvation. Possibly the greatest band ever.

Also check out the concept for Remedy Lane I just posted in the Pain of Salvation thread.

Tyler 02-07-2006 10:25 PM

I just grabbed Perfect Element. Haven't listened too much, but so far I'm really liking it.

Hello thread. Hope you're all having a bad Tuesday. :)
Moses: dredg>> PoS
Sorry but I have to disagree. Dredg needs a few more albums under their belt and what albums do you make your assesment on anyway?

Everytime you say that, I feel like hearing them less and less :-/

Dr. Jake Destructo 02-07-2006 10:32 PM

Well, I've basically just fallen in love with Leitmotif. It's just seeping with emotion and kick-arse riffs. :) The concept is also very intriguing. I ought to hear Remedy Lane though.

PS: Did you get my reply to your myspace message about me sending you Entropia?

Moses 02-07-2006 10:32 PM
Everytime you say that, I feel like hearing them less and less :-/
Why?

And no I haven't gotten the message because the login is still ****ed up for me.

What is the concept for Leitmotif? I can just assume that it's not as good as the Be albums' concept.

Tyler 02-07-2006 10:41 PM

MySpace is a total piece lately. Half the time I can't log in, when I can I cant send messages or comments, sometimes both. Tom needs to stop sucking his own dick and fix his website.

I don't think Tom actually knows what he's doing.

Jeff Foxworthy has his moments, Ron White has a couple good bits, Larry the Cable Guy just plain sucks, and Bill Engvall is probably the most consistent of the bunch.

Still, my favorite stand-up comedians include Dane Cook and Dave Attel (you guys all know how off-beat my sense of humor can get) and in written comedy, Seanbaby Riley is a scream.

Dr. Jake Destructo 02-07-2006 10:52 PM

Basically, there shouldn't be a single site that is created for the general public that doesn't disable html. There will always be tons of jackarses who feel compelled to hack the server, etc...Granted, Myspace is an excellent choice of a site to hack simply because there are tons of holes, but eh, it's still a dickheaded thing to do.

NP: Tool - Ænima

Illmatic 02-07-2006 10:56 PM

None of those four guys are funny

Dave Attel's standup is pretty good but Insomniac was much better

fave comics: Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Lewis Black

also, Tucker Max is the man

I seem to unintentionally avoid bands with hype/whoring. Often I regret avoiding them, like I did with Jeff Buckley.

Dr. Jake Destructo 02-07-2006 11:04 PM

Yeah, I noticed that when I commented on your profile today. Wizzierd. :p No one on my friend's list is malicious or resourceful enough to do anything damaging, so I leave html on.

PT gets sooo much hype on this site though and you're playing it now lol.

Still check them out, PoS is good. I just kind of whore them alot to get more popularity. They have some awesome concepts and stories in their lyrics.
