Ok, I seriously think my guitarist/vocalist is retarded. Keep in mind he knows I have an early class. He just freaking called me (its 1 am for all you non-eastern times zone people) and told me that I had to go get lerch (who lives a few blocks down, and up a hill..). I ask why and he says "I'm at this club and he needs to come drink with me."
Me: "I'm not with him"
Him: "Well go get him"
Me: "why don't you just call him?"
Him: "He didn't answer, dude you have to get him, they are playing music"

Really? I haven't listened to it all the way through yet. I've heard [i]Always With Me / Always With You[/i], [i]Satch Boogie[/i] and [i]Midnight[/i]. I love [i]Midnight[/i]. I have a friend who plays guitar, I'm in a band with him, and he loves Satriani. He's begun religously learning all his songs.

That's a fair challenge.

Satch Boogie is a brilliant song. I've got The Extremist and Flying In A Blue Dream - I'd go with The Extremist being the best simply because it has 'Why' and 'New Blues' on it. Superb tracks.

It's a challenge alright, the songs sound pretty hard. But he's determined to do it and probably will.

How did he manage to get to use the image of Silver Surfer though? Wouldn't that be a registered trademark?

Maybe he showed a percentage. Have a look through the lining and see if there's a 'Silver Surfer is a registered trademark of Marvel Comics' style affair going on.
