Its great. It is my favorite Maiden album.
'Losfer words', is one of the best instrumentals I've heard in ages.

Josh 12-18-2005 04:49 PM
So, I got me 'Powerslave' today. Man, what a good album.
i listened to it all the way through the other night on my hi-fi, with the bass on max, and the volume so loud my bedroom floor shook
i only noticed then that at the end of Back in the Village has the sound effects / drumroll into Powerslave, and i've had the album nearly a year :(
Aces High are great on bass, but my fav is Phantom...:D
Phantom isn't fun, it's a freakin' WORKOUT man

Just posting to say I'm listening to The Trooper now. I guess that's one of my choices for favorite Maiden song to play on bass. Other favorites include Iron Maiden, Wrathchild, and Killers.

blackthorne 12-19-2005 02:54 AM

my fave on guitar is wickerman and aces high but for drums its gotta be run to the hills or no more lies

anyway, ITT we should discuss the awesomeness of the hidden version of Age of Innocence that follows the electrical version of Journeyman. Nicko ++ methinks.

haha, yes indeed.

Nicko's quite the vocalist:)

Josh 12-19-2005 02:59 PM

/me puts on Journeyman electrical version.

i actually haven't listened to it in a while, about time i reminded myself of the comedy of that AoI version. although on the Journeyman part, i don't think Bruce sounds as good as on the original.
