how does yahoo chat work? i don't have a computer mic or anything like that, i wish i did. does anyone else played bluegrass around here? if there was a way we could each record separate parts or solos, and then pieced them together it would be cool, but it might not sound good cuz it would be hard to match them up.
edit- and is that some sort of Terrapin hoedown in your avatar? |

edit- and is that some sort of Terrapin hoedown in your avatar?
It's live playing. Get a microphone and we can have a slide guitar jam, it'd be sweet. And my avatar is from the cover of Terrapin Station. And my usertitle states a line from the first verse. I also just made a yahoo account. |
W00t, the Tsunami show is on. Clapton will probably be the last on, though.
|
If I can find my old Yahoo account, you guys wanna jam?
|
that'd be interesting
|
How do you do it?
|
Download yahoo messenger, but you need a mic or a way to direct input your guitar into your computer.
Also the concert is being webcasted: http://launch.yahoo.com/promos/tsunamirelief/ |
Brian Wilson is on....sweet.
|
Is that sarcastic? Cause I didn't really like him.
|
Why would I be sarcastic?
Brian Wilson owns. |
i love Brian Wilson!
|
Elton John just went on also. It seemed like Brian Wilson didn't know where he was.
|
Magicbus, what's your yahoo I.D.?
|
John Mayer is playing Bold As Love. Nice.
He did a great job, great solo. |
Magicbus587. And I missed John Mayer.

|
And Clapton owned the acoustic solo.

|
Elton John just went on also. It seemed like Brian Wilson didn't know where he was.
That's because Brian Wilson is insane. |
Okay, this may bring some discussion.
What is your favorite (Classic Rock) epic? You know, songs like Stair Way to Heaven, Wharf Rat, Terrapin Station, Won't Get Fooled Again, Baba O'Riley, The End, etc. Mine - Terrapin Station |
Mine: The Kinks-Lola
It's so simple yet perfect. |

No, he just has permafry from all that acid he did back in he day |
Mine: The Kinks-Lola

The Same Old Rock- Roy Harper

EDIT: /offtopic How come I got repped by like 4 people for about 100 points, then yesterday repped by two people for about 150 points!? |
Gotta be Achilles. It's so....epic.
Edit: Does My Generation count? I think that is one of the most important statement songs ever. |

When a person has say 2000 rep points he reps someone and gives 2% of that. I just repped you by the way. How many do you have?
|
A person's amount of rep determines how much rep they give away.
Do you get rep for giving rep? also alot of Jethro Tull's music are good epic songs |
Thick As a Brick is epic.
|
No I wish I would've had stars long ago. I need 1,5000 posts to get 4 stars.
|
Its All Right Ma (Im only Bleeding), Hurricane, Hard Rains Gonna Fall, Like A Rolling Stone....etc -Bob Dylan
|
Eh? Woodstock, that didn't make any sense. To me, at least.
But, I think how it works is, the more rep points you have, the more a rep from you is worth. I think that's what Woodstock was trying to say, but hopefully not quite so confusing. |

It made sense to me :p Think of rep as money, the more money you have, the more you're worth. |
I'm rich, bitch!
