MRDuCran 06-16-2006 05:14 PM

I'd use it if I had one, but I can easily live without.
I'd use it if I had one, but I can easily live without.
Kinda the same here.

This week it's taking to ship is so fukking aganizing. Seriously. I dind't realize it sucked to be without guitar for a week. I'm nearly dying.

IN good news: I don't give a fukk about grammar or spelling or typoos on the net anymore. im lazy

oh yeah. And Derek Roddy makes Kollias sound slow. :p

MRDuCran 06-16-2006 06:03 PM

Yeah Derek Roddy is a stupidly fast drummer, my mate practically wants to suck his balls, he's a member of his forums too. I think he's amazing but amazingly boring to watch, especially when he's doing those drum "solos", if they were that fast and creative then it'd be great but it's just not.

Also, I don't think Jaska gets enough credit. Sure, his beats aren't exactly the most interesting things in the world, and they're mainly based on 3/4/6, but he can play at 200+ with great ease, and has been doing so since he was like 13 in InEarthed.

AA-12 06-16-2006 06:06 PM

Derek Roddy is really creative. That's why I like him.

123. I Monarch is becoming one of my favorite death metal albums.

I found an excellent Symphonic/gothic/bm band from poland and I'm dl two albums.
The band is called Darzamat. \m/

I honestly don't like Jaska much. Granted what you say is fully true. I still don't find him interesting. Though there are some fills on the hatebreeder album that are tight. He's got his moments.

Roope > Janne > Alexi > rest of sinergy/bodom

Listen to the WHOLE Beware The Heavens album from Sinergy. Before alexi joined.

Listen to Roope's leads and solos. Then tell me Alexi is better.

AA-12 06-16-2006 06:25 PM

I, Monarch sucks :(

I hope you're kidding.

AA-12 06-16-2006 06:29 PM

I'm not, haha. I only like the older albums. The new one is just boring and not raw/intense enough.

repcak 06-16-2006 06:34 PM

Darzamat? from poland? cool... tell me more

I'll download it.

AA-12 06-16-2006 06:54 PM

Dylan would be proud.

MRDuCran 06-16-2006 08:51 PM

\m/

Well I'm not going to go buy it, I might hate the music.

Plus, I've been doing loads of downloading since I got a hard drive that's larger than 4GB.

AA-12 06-16-2006 08:55 PM

I have 750 gigs of HDD and now I don't DL anything.

MRDuCran 06-16-2006 08:57 PM

That's like the guy who made the computer for me, he said after a while you get bored of downloading and just have all that space doing nothing.

Shattered_Future 06-16-2006 08:59 PM

We have abot 170 GB of space left, and my dad's getting mad at me because I'm taking up space. THERE'S A REASON THE HARD DRIVE IS SO BIG.

MRDuCran 06-16-2006 09:01 PM

How big is it originally?

Shattered_Future 06-16-2006 09:07 PM

250 GB. I think after all the formatting and programs that came with it/that were on my old computer and crap, it was about 200.

MRDuCran 06-16-2006 11:04 PM

170GB is alot on its own, let alone having that left from a 250!!

I've still got 203 which probably go down pretty rapidly...ish.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-16-2006 11:14 PM

I have a 200 external and 20gig in the computer.

Nepenthe 06-16-2006 11:46 PM

I had 160gb original and filled it up in about 3 months. I just got a 400gb a few days ago. I love it.

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 12:16 AM

You guys seen Bodom Beach Terror live at Tuska Festival 2003?

I myself always worry of hating an album. Hence why I dl.

And because you're cheap. :p

In my defense. 99% of what i listen to isn't in stores.

That's a fact.

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 01:00 AM

That's a high percentage there.

TEST 06-17-2006 01:08 AM
That's a high percentage there.
Indeed. This Darzamat is fukking amazing. I havn't even listened to all of one album much less both I dl/found. It's already top ten bands. :chug:

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 01:44 AM

That high number is probably nearly correct, I've never heard of Darzamat...

Time to eat a bacon sandwich methinks.

Only things you could find of my albums in stores easily:

CoB
DB
OMC
CoF
Nile
Tool
Kelly Clarkson
Opeth
a7x
In Flames
Lucuna Coil

That's almost it.

I have 89 artists in my iTunes.

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 01:54 AM

Shi...I bet it's all obscure black/death metal isn't it?

Most of it isn't that rare. It's very rare for mainstream, your everyday person. Within metal circles, mostly not.

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 02:22 AM

I think I'll just stick with Bodom for now.

I've been getting into At The Gates, I'm liking that whole Gothenburg sound, I've started writing a song in that style, it's coming along ok.

Anyway, bed time for mez.

you're writting a "Gothenburg"-style-song?! HOW do yo do it? i'm just curious, cause gothenburg = melodic death metal, the only difference is that in gothenburg you scream more and growl less... as far as i'm not wrong.

AA-12 06-17-2006 05:57 AM

Gothenburg just has a different sound than melo-death. Almost industrial influence I believe.

repcak 06-17-2006 06:30 AM

no, no... i listen a lot industrial-music and know what industrial is. there are no industrial-elements in gothenburg. no, never. a lot of ppl think industrial = electronic elements in music, but this is wrong... soo wrong. don't make this mistake.

and yes gothenburg has a different sound, but i would like to know, what exactly are the differences between them.

MRDuCran 06-17-2006 12:27 PM

Well I don't mean it's specifically Gothenburg, but ok, melodic death metal style.

I put the guitars in B standard, used a 16th note riff at 140bpm and put a Slayer type beat to it, just reminded me of something AtG would do, so I just said it was that style.
At the Gates used to really be my thing.

What music DO you actually find interesting??
