1,500 posts and 1,000 reps = 4 stars
mod = 5 stars

And whoring the community thread for rep is [I]not[/I] a good idea as it is pissing everyone off, including Bartender.

no im not talking about whoring, but usually people randomly rep the whole page or rep parties and stuff. not many people rep whore anymore

I've tried that but there seem to be a lot of people who will neg rep u if they don't agree with your opinion, and i often stress that it's just my opinion.

The majority of users who neg rep you for disagreeing with their opinion don't do very much damage.
Just stay around for a few months and thigns will get better.
And at least you should build up some rep of your own so that you can damage them.

well sometimes i do that, which is kinda stupid. i only do it if your opinion is completely stupid. but its an opinion, and no opinion is really stupid, so that's why i've cut down on neg repping people. i only neg rep opinions if someone for example comes in here and says "Metalica sucks!"

If people justify their opinion, and just don't mindlessly flame the band, it's fine by me.
Whereas if they start saying "this band is gay in my opinion" they get negged to f[font=]u[/font]ck.

Oh ya, and just to let you guys know, if you see me in the community thread, it doesn't mean i'm whoring for rep now, i've just never really checked it out before. I tend to spend most of my time in this thread unless i see another that interests me.

lol. for me i don't usually hang out there, i think it's kinda hard to keep up. whenever i go in there it's 10 pages past where i last posted.

It's easy to tell the the rep whores.
They post things like "only need 200 mor erep to get to 5k" and "I just repped all you guys. Rep me back" or "let's start a rep party"
