A Banquet In The Darkness is worth getting.

AA-12 07-18-2006 08:07 AM

I'm not sure what the demo I have is, but i'll post it when I finally open the file.

Crikey! The tracks that Ive heard seem to be from that album. Looks like another one on my list of things to buy. I might go on a music spree in America, seeing as things are usually cheaper there. T'is a pity I'll be nowhere near the Relapse store though :(

How did you get your hands on it?
And no worries.

AA-12 07-18-2006 08:15 AM

The Negation 07-18-2006 08:16 AM

That's probably my least favorite album by them. Soulcollector kicks some serious ass though.

NP: Pink Floyd - Dogs

AA-12 07-19-2006 10:48 AM

Haha, I had to start somewhere.

metallicaman8 07-19-2006 10:52 AM

The only metal albums I currently own are either by Metallica or Megadeth. I'm going to be buying a few new albums soon, though. Suggestions?

AA-12 07-19-2006 10:53 AM

Thrash?

Check out:

Destruction
Sodom
Kreator
Coroner
Overkill
Dark Angel
Vio-lence
Slayer
Anthrax
Testament

if you want thrash, and that's a very small list.

metallicaman8 07-19-2006 10:58 AM

I was thinking more like a specific album. Something by Iron Miaden Mototbreath, or a lesser knwon metal band I haven't heard of. But okay.

...I hate it when people beat me to the post^.

AA-12 07-19-2006 10:58 AM

^and Corrosion of Conformity. They're not really thrash, but you'd probably like them.

AA-12 07-19-2006 11:09 AM

The Negation 07-19-2006 11:12 AM

Poofy 666 07-19-2006 08:07 PM
What Ghoul cd should I buy? Splatterthrash or Maniaxe?
I'd say get maniaxe now..and splatterthrash tommorow.

Bazarov 07-19-2006 09:11 PM

Ghoul is pretty damn sick.

NP: Pleasent Screams/Forbbiden Crypts

I can't wait to see them live. Eventually they have to come to SD.

Also, bummer for me, damn Municipal Waste changed their venue. They were going to play at this crap venue for only 18+, then changed to this other venue, whom the owner is a douche and has been known to not pay the bands, now they don't even know where they're going to play.... oh well this'll give me more time to find the perfect boogey board to purchase.

RiceMonster 07-19-2006 09:23 PM

Ghoul ****ing rules. I've only heard Splatterthrash so far.

Bazarov 07-19-2006 09:26 PM

I need to get it, I have the link to download that album. But I'm extremely low on space left on my computer.. and I'm trying to get bands I haven't heard more than new material from bands I already have...

NP: Ghoul - Numbskull

Apocalyptic Raids 07-20-2006 01:41 AM
Aura Noir is amazing. They are a bit hard to find though.
I found The Merciless pretty easily.
Ghoul ****ing rules. I've only heard Splatterthrash so far.
Get Maniaxe. It's better than Splatterthrash.

Nostalgia 07-20-2006 01:43 AM

Ghoul's good so far. Numbskull has some pretty rad growls on it.

Bazarov 07-20-2006 05:57 AM

I am a numbskull.
