Every single song? They'd be dead after a while, and so would i :p
It would still be cool though :D |
It would still be cool though :D
if metallica played every single song they have ever made in the history of themselves ........apart from them giving the person who told them to do it a mighty slap it whould take them days if not weeks of solid concert time..........IM GONNA WORK IT OUT EXACTLY!!!!.....*mutters*"a yes google wot will they think of next!!" |
no they don't. they used marshalls till the mid eighties, when they switched to mesa boogies.
they didn't just "switch" to mesa's. marshalls were there main sound in the kill days but later on around a.j.f.a. they used mesa's and later during the black album they used modded mesa's with marshall pre-amps. in their recordings they've used soo many amps so really I think it's better to get your own sound and not try to get "exactly" some other player/s tone. |
They said they cant play dyers eve live. It to hard and fast to play. But on there next tour i would like to see them play.
Damage Inc Orion Call of Ktulu Metal Militia Hit the Lights ...And Justice for All |
has anyone heard any news on the new album they are recording?
|
has anyone heard any news on the new album they are recording?
|
WHAT i cant do that
Well we cant answer the same questions every day. |
cant you do it for me *flutters eyelashes*
|
Some people said they are currently in the studio. Dont know how credible that is.
|
They should play
Leper Messiah My friend of Misery Blackened Orion Fight fire with fire
They played all of those songs but My friend Misery at the concert I went to a few months ago. :D On a side note, I just watched SKOM on Vh1 it was pretty good, its a really well put togather documantry. |
I saw part of SKOM (starting from the part with Kirk's Ranch) when I got home from a church dinner.
|

Why would whoever suggested it need a slap? I'm pretty sure it was intended as a joke anywho |

|
what do people think of the some kind of monster video? i saw it last night on vh1. i thought it was pretty good.
|
I went to see it in the Theater and i thought it was good. I was also really happy to see that Kirk wanted to put solos in the songs but Larz and Bob Rock wouldnt let him
|
then after it on vh1 was when metallica ruled the world that was pretty good. but it had some stuff from some kind of monster in it.
|

Again, Bob Rock didn't say whether there should be a rule of solos or no solos. Lars was the one that thought solos were classic and they shouldn't be put in there. |
anyone in hear have a BC Rich and love it for playing metallica?
What BC Rich do you have? Edit: Grr, I thought I edited the other post with this, not double post. First time I double posted. :upset: |
NO. I would have to disagree with you. He was against them having solos he was pupeteering (SP?) Larz.
|
What BC Rich do you have?
I have an NJ Series Warlock |
I really dont see what the big deal about BC Riches are. I personally think they dont sound good at all. I would much rather have an ESP or Ibanez.

I hope you're not just folloowing popular opinion on this one. I love my Mockingbird, it's sucha clean guitar, it has some awesome tone. Besides, Dave Mustaine used to use a B.C. Rich NJ Bich when he played with Metallica. |

123'd BC Rich get attention from their looks. When you see them, you think "holy shit, that looks awsome!", then when you actually play them, you see the truth. |
B.C. Riches that are more expensive have a lot of versatility and i love my NJ Warlock more than any guitar ive played before (not many), it really is an awesome guitar though, i think everyone should have a chance to play an NJ series

True, Dave also played B.C. Rich guitars when he was starting out with Megadeth. |
i think BC Riches are outspoken for the wrong reasons, ppl are comparing them to $1000-2000 guitars, and guitars that are meant to give a feel thats not heavy metal, if u dont like heavy metal dont play BC Riches, but if u like the heavy **** then ur just following the popular idea when u say that BC Riches suck

Not at all. I love heavy metal, as my avatar shows. My guitar was only around 300 bucks Canadian, and I find it to be far better than any BC Rich I have played. It has nothing to do with popular opinion, I used to think theu were awsome untill I actually played one. |
i own one (it was $900) and its far better than some $300 peice of **** that u could buy at a ****in privately owned music store in the middle of a small town
|
so who wants to talk about metallica again?, since this is a metallica thread
|
True, Dave also played B.C. Rich guitars when he was starting out with Megadeth.
Yes. If you look in the booklet of "Peace Sells..." all the gear is listed, including the B.C Rich. Also in the music video for Peace Sell... there are close-ups of their nikes for the first 10 seconds. You gotta get your money somehow. |
