Bobo insulted Trilemma, Trilemma demands respect!(omg!)so he banned bobo. DM double posted.

By the way, that's a pretty good idea for a script.
Zero thinks that he can abuse powers when he takes personal attacks on him or his modding ability.

Isn't that neato?

NP: Metal Church - Metal Church

Anyone else ever hear this song? I swear this is one of the most badass songs I have ever heard.

BoboTheRagingHobo3 07-08-2005 09:49 PM

I have yet to hear any thing by Metal Church.

Send to me plz kk thx.

Zero's double posted and used single smiley posts.

He shouldn't be allowed to break rules because he's a mod.

He also trolled this thread earlier. GG

Dredg is awesome.
Good movie. They all look so freaking young compared to that Live 8 concert, haha. I barely recognized Gilmour!
Freak is the word to describe Roger in that video. He looked fugly when he was younger. He is one of the only people in the band to age well(Him and Rick).
I mate I got back from China about 5weeks ago you will be shocked. IT is so clean and well organized there it will be a very good olympics. ALOT BETTER THAN ATLANTA.....hehehe. It was awsome over there don't be so hard until you actually know what it like instead of you american tainted view of "there just commies"
I have no problem with them being communist, and I can tip my hat to the fact that their education system is much better than ours, and that their people are, for the most part, much harder working. I do have a problem that they have a government that denies its people basic rights and spies on its people.

I also have a problem with Non Sequitur/Trilemma/zero's posting habits and conduct. He should be demodded, if not temp-banned. Meh.

I'm glad that whole mess in P&WI is over. But as long as Trilemma is posting there I think I'll avoid it. Unfortunately, he also mods Sports and practically goads me into arguments there too :-\

Of course, my day was brightened by the fact that my gf would be coming home a week earlier than expected (which I learned yesterday, but still) :) Also, she went to a bullfight today

Cain 07-08-2005 10:26 PM

WHAT A COWARD!

Trilemma deleted the thread in which everyone was arguing with him, so we can't cite anything he said or a way he behaved in that thread to bring any sort of complaint to bear against him. What a sniveling little shit!

I knew something was amiss when his postcount went down. Then I saw that mine went down. Jesus Christ, he deserves to be taken down for this.

ATM 07-08-2005 10:29 PM

Hey Lucas:

Let's talk about War of the Worlds.

Sincerely,
ATM

BoboTheRagingHobo3 07-08-2005 10:29 PM

Start something about it in the site forum.

He was easily out of line for what he was doing in there.

 I'm sorry but that made me laugh out loud. Thank you for making my day and good luck trying to 'take me down'.

Cain 07-08-2005 10:32 PM

WHAT A GOD****ED COWARD.

ATM: Did you like it?

Trilemma: Mild hyperbole brought on by incredulity at your utter lack of balls. Who's unwilling to take responsibility for his actions now? You run and hide by deleting the thread so we can't complain about it.

And quit trolling this thread.

magicbus 07-08-2005 10:36 PM
Ahhh Gilmour. I watched Live at Pompeii today. Your username made me think of it.

Good movie. They all look so freaking young compared to that Live 8 concert, haha. I barely recognized Gilmour!
Isn't Pompeii great? I absolutely love that movie.

So my internet's been down all day, due to a thunderstorm, and I just got it back.

Why is Trillemma in this thread?

Otherside 07-08-2005 10:37 PM

Trilemma: Get out. I'm tired of you trolling up this thread, and I'm tired of you abusing your power by blatantly breaking the rules without fear of consequence, and I'm tired of you acting like your some internet god. Get the fuck over yourself, and go back to the Pit where all the idiots think your amazing when all they want is to be your bitch and get rep from you.

Seriously, just end this whole arguement, and lets go back to a friendly discussion. I realize why you guys where so annoyed and offended, because I was too, but just cut the argueing out. It's best if we try and forget about the whole damn thing.

Glad to hear it. My praise for it was rather high, so I'd be disappointed in myself if I uneccesarily increased an expectation. But you enjoyed it anyway, so no worries. :)

Okay this has officially crossed the line into "fucking ridiculous."

At first, I just wanted him to be moved out of the politics forum, but if this keeps up, demodding him is beginning to sound more and more reasonable.

On a positive note, Ozric Tentacles are up along with the first two uploads, and more are on the way.

This was one of the best ones made yet. Rivals 28 Days Later and the original Dawn of the Dead for awesome apocalypse movies. The first hour shell-shocked me, literally. I walked out of the theater shaking. A very harrowing, difficult movie, surprisingly.

Anyone seen the original, or heard Orson Welles' radio broadcast?

ATM 07-08-2005 10:48 PM

The ending didn't really satisfy me. My girlfriend said the book was a lot better, but we both liked the movie.

The freakiest part is when they are in the car. Lucas will know what I mean.

Shadow's are present in rain.

Jom 07-08-2005 10:49 PM

Otherside: yeah. I was hoping that that topic would go places, but it won't.

And again, I saw the original War of the Worlds for a Film and Lit class sophomore year.

Anyway, I wish I had more to say than this, but I'll just float around.

Um, yeah. Really freaky and incredibly upsetting.

The original movie had a better ending. It was more moving, and more surprising. Plus it took place in a church. They were all praying for a miracle and then the machines stopped. It worked for that one, it wouldn't have really for this one.

ATM 07-08-2005 10:52 PM

Definitions of fugue:

noun: a musical form consisting of a theme repeated a fifth above or a fourth below its first statement
noun: a dreamlike state of altered consciousness that may last for hours or days
noun: dissociative disorder in which a person forgets who who they are and leaves home to creates a new life; during the fugue there is no memory of the former life; after recovering there is no memory for events during the dissociative state

Cain 07-08-2005 10:52 PM

The dictionary got confused with that word.

The van part was pretty intense.

I have no problem with the ending because that's how it was in the book, I'm pretty sure (didn't read it :upset: ).

I love the book. Although it's totally strange in spots, written as it was at the turn of the twentieth century: like, the tripods fight an ironclad warship and stuff. But this movie was more true to the book on the whole: there were no nuclear weapon allegories like there were in the original movie.
