RouteOne 08-04-2008 06:37 PM

Basement shows are the best thing ever.

carbombsandconversations 08-04-2008 06:37 PM

basically

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 06:51 PM

My old grind band played in a basement. I was so embarrassed, the drummer was too drunk and/or high and he ****ed up like 72934579348752938476 times. I'm not even sure if he was actually a drummer.

Motown 08-04-2008 06:53 PM

you weren't in a band

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 06:53 PM
you weren't in a band
Malfeitor 08-04-2008 07:06 PM
maybe you were too fvcked up to remember
This was four years ago, I didn't smoke or drink back then, so no.

Nepenthe 08-04-2008 07:08 PM

i gave up guitar, bass, and keys to play drums. im pretty damn good now, if i do say so myself. ill occasionally pick up my bass, but i havent touched a guitar in years.

Pete 08-04-2008 07:10 PM

vid or lies

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 07:11 PM

Drums looks a lot more fun than guitar.

Pete 08-04-2008 07:12 PM

i can play drums pretty well but only for 15 seconds a time

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 07:12 PM
i can play drums pretty well but only for 15 seconds a time
Let's make a 15 second grind song!

Malfeitor 08-04-2008 07:15 PM

depends what you play on guitar. black metal is boring as **** to play. old school death and thrash is great fun

Pete 08-04-2008 07:19 PM
Let's make a 15 second grind song!
lets make 20 15 second grind songs and call it an album!

RiceMonster 08-04-2008 07:20 PM

My friends drum kit is in my basement. I can only play really basic stuff. I like playing guitar more.

Motown 08-04-2008 07:21 PM

doom is the most fun to play

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 07:37 PM
lets make 20 15 second grind songs and call it an album!
Nepenthe 08-04-2008 07:41 PM

RetiredAt21 08-04-2008 07:42 PM
i dont have any way of making a video but i could make a recording full of elite beats
Do it and I can lay down some shitty Brenoritvrezorkre-like riffs.

Nepenthe 08-04-2008 07:45 PM

honestly i probably couldnt play grind. im not very good at playing at hyperspeed. i mean i can double bass at a pretty fast, constant pace for minutes at a time. but im at my best when im only using one kick, and playing just below fast.

RouteOne 08-04-2008 07:47 PM

I play guitar hero 2 sometimes.

Pete 08-04-2008 07:49 PM
I'm down. Send me some beats, foo.
Motown 08-04-2008 07:49 PM
