Apocalyptic Raids 07-14-2006 08:30 PM

The Ultra-Violence is pretty good, but I haven't bothered with anything else by them.

FatalEnergy 07-14-2006 08:41 PM

Have you guys seen a tab anywhere for "Spectators of Sin"? It's on Coroner's Death Cult demo. I forgot how killer this song is

NP: Coroner - Spectators of Sin

Apocalyptic Raids 07-14-2006 08:47 PM

I've never seen any tabs for that song.

FatalEnergy 07-14-2006 10:54 PM

It's hard to find tabs really for any Coroner song. Although metaltabs has a lot of them, they aren't exactly accurate

Apocalyptic Raids 07-14-2006 10:58 PM

I search at http://www.911tabs.com and found a bunch. Mostly Guitar Pro tabs.

NP: Corrosion of Conformity - Long Whip/Big America

I just realized how much I really love this band. I guess they are related to thrash in an almost crossover way.

FatalEnergy 07-15-2006 12:36 AM

Has any heard Kreator's cover of Witching Hour? It's weird. It dosen't even sound like Mille

Anybody a fan of this band? I have "Příjezd krále" and "Sabat v Carnegie Hall". These guys produce some of the most original thrash metal I've ever heard

They have keyboards in it too, and it actually works!

Asmodeus - ... a kristalove slzy kanou -- Příjezd krále [03:46m/128Kbps/44KHz] - 1995

FatalEnergy 07-15-2006 04:10 PM

Nope, can't say I've ever heard of them

Terrorzone 07-15-2006 05:38 PM
I haven't heard any of the post-Mike Browning stuff. How is that? Is it like The Key or Thresholds?
Its more technical, more gutteral vocals, louder keyboards, better production. Overall, if you like Nocturnus, I'd say buy it.

Anyone heard of Demiricous or Legions of the Damned. Legions of the Damned is a brutal thrash band with blackish vocals, killer riffs, drums and production. Demiricous is a new straight foward thrash band. I'd highly recommend them.

_Tyler 07-15-2006 06:00 PM

Is anyone into Excel? I just got into them recently. They used to hang with Suicidal Tendencies back in the day.

AA-12 07-15-2006 06:19 PM

I think i've heard of them.

This just in: Aro is going to die from being buried alive underground. :p

Damage 07-15-2006 06:20 PM

Quick question, is Pantera considered a thrash band?

AA-12 07-15-2006 06:21 PM

No.

Damage 07-15-2006 06:24 PM

What genre are they?

AA-12 07-15-2006 06:27 PM

Just like basic metal I guess. Some people refer to them as "groove" metal though. They have way too much melody to be thrash.

Damage 07-15-2006 06:28 PM

Would you happen to know any bands that are like them? Is "groove metal" a legit subgenre that actually has a bunch of bands and stuff?

_Tyler 07-15-2006 06:30 PM

Groove metal is a legitimate genre. It's sort of post-thrash. Machine Head are also groove metal.

Damage 07-15-2006 06:31 PM

Oh, right on. Thanks.

AA-12 07-15-2006 06:32 PM

New Lamb of God sounds a lot like Pantera, but much better. Their old stuff kind of does too. You could try Damageplan; They're a side project Dime + Vin had. Other than that i'm not really sure. I guess it's legit, I see it used a lot.

Damage 07-15-2006 06:41 PM

Alright, thanks guys. I'll look it up. I've heard a lot about Lamb of God, so I'll check them out.

Aronax 07-15-2006 08:30 PM

Hopefully I dont happen to die that way, but than again I guess I look too hard to be underground :chug:

Will you join me, Wotan/TSASI? :naughty: :naughty:

but he doesn't like Bonded By Blood.

Therefore his opinions are invalid.

I am having the hardest time finding guitar tabs for Black Prophecies.

I haven't listened to Dark Angel in quite a bit, so great.

NP: Black Prophecies

FatalEnergy 07-16-2006 02:53 PM

I have one saved. I don't know where I got it though. It's just rythym guitar.

NP: Sabbat (UK) - The Best of Enemies

Bazarov 07-16-2006 03:58 PM

If somehow you could email me the tabs that'd be awesome. If you can my email is dervater100@cox.net

NP: Cannibal Corpse - Beyond the Cemetary.

Most of this song is total thrash.

Bazarov 07-16-2006 04:37 PM

Awesome man. Hey are you going to that thrash fest thing up in LA, the one with Merciless Death, Fueled by Fire and Warbringer? I might be going to that. I saw those guys about a month ago when they came to San Diego, they were great.
